Alejandro was our guide. He was wonderful. He is enthusiastic about the history, the culture, the art of his city and he shared it all with us. From the history to the architecture, the murals, and his mother's wisdom, we learned a lot. I visit Costa Rica every winter and

We designed a tasting experience that we do not usually offer to accommodate the size and short time frame of this group. There was confusion at the moment of dining due to vendor staff. As mentioned, we did all we could to correct in the moment. We accepted ultimate responsibility and had immediate communication with the client. At some point the emails have to end. Our specialty is small groups and 'sampling' along the way to keep a local and insider vibe on the tour. We have learned from our mistake and with larger groups 'sampling' won't work. We will send exact menus in advance so each guest knows exactly what to expect and the order verified with the vendor so there is no room for confusion from any party involved. We look forward to continue growing, learning and sharing our love of San Jose!

I recently traveled to San Jose and was interested in a walking tour including the older neighborhoods. I signed up for Bario Bird's art walking tour and it was excellent. Since I was the only one who signed up for that tour on that day, I spent three hours walking all over

Thanks for the review! We always take small groups so you can have this kind of personalized experience. Our team are active members of the community so we can always veer of the main path to show things that might be of personal interest. Cheers.

Alejandro was terrific. We got a real feel for San Jose, not just monuments and museums. I would definitely recommend this company and especially Alejandro.
