Highly recommended. Nice comfortable minibus, polite and helpful driver, and he arrived 10 minutes early.

Absolutely terrifying- Do NOT book this shuttle
Mar 2019 • Couples
As soon as we left customs we found a man who brought us to our vehicle. He was very helpful and most definitely expected a tip once he brought us to our van. When we got to the vehicle the driver spoke zero English and was an absolute maniac on the road. He went 100 in 40 zones and passed vehicles in residential areas with oncoming traffic coming towards us at full speed. It was the absolute scariest drive of our lives. I have never experienced such fear for my life like I did on that drive and I’ve jumped out of 3 planes! When we got to Jaco he couldn’t find the hotel and took us down an extremely sketchy ally way, got out of the car for 20 minutes talking on the phone and left us in the van. I would not recommend this shuttle. Find another one.

Good ride

The reviews here are modest, however, our experience was fine. The friendly driver picked us up on time in San Jose and brought us on time to Puerto Jiminez.
The van was very old though

Worst shuttle service - but it did get me there and back
Feb 2019 • Friends
At the airport there was some guy calling my name. He seated us at a table at the restaurant while we waited for the other passengers. The shuttle was scheduled for 6 but we ended up leaving around 6:30. As we were getting in the van, the guy was begging everyone in the van for tips. I found this awkward. He didn't do anything except gather us in one spot. It's the driver that I planned on tipping. The 3 hour drive to Manuel Antonio wasn't too bad. The driver asked if we wanted to see the ocean. No one did so we kept on going. He then stopped for gas and we were able to use the restroom, get some snacks and drinks.

The return trip was not so pleasant. There were 11 seats on the van. There were several stops on route to San Jose where all but one seat was occupied. We were stuffed like sardines. The driver kept accelerating which was making me sick. We never stopped because one couple on the van was in a rush to get to the airport. Once we got to the airport, there were 5 of us that still needed to be dropped off at different hotels. Traffic was so bad it took another 2 hours to go 10 miles. It wasn't the driver's fault for most of the unpleasantness so I don't fault him. I actually felt bad for him since he was probably just as tired and hungry as the rest of us. I'm not sure I'd use this company again. They were the least expensive and we did make it there and back. I'm not sure I'd risk driving around CR. It was scary. I'll have to spend more time researching alternatives next time.

Unpleasant Service

Old, old, old car. Dirty inside and out. NO cup holders, so I had no where to place my cup of coffee during the 2 hours ride from San Jose to Jaco. Improperly working Air Conditioner. AC was so weak, I could barely feel it so I asked the driver to just open the windows instead. Ok driver but not talkative. Not a great welcoming committee to Costa Rica. The man that had my name at the airport was NOT the driver, but a random person sent by the driver to go get me. When he dropped me off at the car, he was very insistent on a tip. I just arrived at Costa Rica and had not yet had the chance to understand the value of the money there, so I was uninformed as to what a typical tip for porting baggage would be. When I was going to give the amateur porter some coin change, he proceeded to reject it, saying that coins in Costa Rica had no value. He was pretty assertive about it and the driver wasn't chiming in to assist. So I felt very accosted. I am not happy and would not recommend this service to anyone.

Freindly Staff and good service

They changed our tickets on short notice via online chat. Our driver picked us up ahead of schedule, and we arrived in San Jose ahead of time, too. He was a bit chatty, but nothing too annoying. No problems with the service.

Walk if you can

After our driver arrived 30min late to pick up my girlfriend and I from the San José airport he began to argue with us that HE had been waiting hours?!? Mind you, we were waiting at the area designated as our pickup spot way ahead of time and the driver had my name but made no attempt to locate us (his passengers). He then took an attitude with us after we explained he was driving a vehicle with a different company name and phone number printed on it so there was no way to identify when our ride had arrived. He claimed the company went by multiple names, insinuating that we were to know this without any heads up. He proceeded to speed through the highways passing vehicles wrecklessly on our way to the hotel, total disregard for safety.

DO NOT book through this service. Plenty of better options including uber and taxis.

Waste of Time and Money

I scheduled a trip from San Jose to Dominical. It was set for 11am. The driver didn't show up until 1130. There were 2 other stops on the way, which took an hour. What was supposed to be a 2.5-3 hour trip was 5 hours. I didn't get dropped off until 430. The driver wasn't paying attention while driving and almost hit the stopped car in front of us. He was looking out the window and when I screamed, he slammed on the breaks and barely stopped before hitting the car. Later, he was drifting off the road, still not paying attention.
They don't tell you that they make lots of stops at other places - not all of us were going to Dominical, so I was the first on and the last off the bus waiting while he drove around to all the other hotels first. That information should be upfront. There is absolutely no leg room in the bus either. $55 was not worth it. Public bus would have been much much better.

We were landing in SJ then traveling to Manuel Antonio. At the airport, we found someone holding up our name so we went with him to the parking area. He then informed us that he was only there to help the driver and worked on tips. We were put in a very small 4 door car. My husband and I are both tall and need leg room. The car smelled heavily of air freshner. As we tried to exit the parking, the driver couldn't get the machine to work so he had to stop and go to the kiosk line for around 15 minutes. I asked him to please stop somewhere so I get something to eat (we never stopped the entire trip for eating). I asked if we could stop at the Crocodile Bridge along the way. I was told it was the alligators and it was on the other side of the country. When we did stop there about halfway thru the trip - I simply shot my husband a look. The driver stopped multiple times for us to take pictures - aka - he wanted to smoke then the air freshner would be so strong. He drove slow so we it took us over 3 hours to arrive at our hotel. Lastly - he couldn't find the hotel. We stayed at the Arenas del Mar which is well known. He stopped and asked directions multiple times and we turned around in the road several times. Finally finally we arrived! I couldn't have been happier that I booked another company to make our return trip.
