Danny and his team is amazing!! When we landed at San Jose airport, Francisco was waiting by the exit with our names on a card as requested. The drive from the airport to our hotel in downtown San Jose was flawless 👌. The next morning I requested a drive take us from Dan Jose to Purto Vejo Telimanca on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Yes there are cheaper options. You can take a bus for five hours (no AC or bathrooms and a long wait in the bus line) And thier are faster options. You can take a small plane between San Jose and Limon airport (besides the luggage restrictions, landing on a single runway along the beach has challenges in poor weather) But, after much contemplation between the two, I selected Danny's service. I and my wife are very happy we did (Happy wife happy life). Not only was the car air conditioned, but Francisco offered us use of his cell phone hot spot so we could have wifi during the trip (for the ever so important WhatsApp messages to friends and most important Instagram likes of our friends - Lol) Along the way we stopped and ate lunch at a restaurant Fransisco recommend. (Of course I insisted to pay for Fransico's lunch....I would recommend you do the same on any long drive). We arrived in Purto Vejo Telimanca rested and ready to explore the town after Fransico dropped us of at the door of our Airbnb (This is another HUGE reason why to hire a car instead of taking the bus or flying into Limon airport. You still need to get to your Airbnb from the bus or Limon. If you packed bags to stay a few weeks like we did, I highly recommend a car service. Most importantly, thier is no better car service in San Jose Costa Rica than Danny's Costa Rica Driver!

Danny and his team or drivers he contracts with are top notch! It’s more expensive obviously then taking public transportation but is worth every penny to have the flexibility to stop as needed. We have used Danny for two different trips to Costa Rica with 3 transfers per trip. We stop to see sights, get food, go to grocery store, potty, get fresh seafood, beer ... really whatever you need. Vehicles are reliable and comfortable. Drivers have all been polite, helpful, professional, safe, friendly, fun, patient, and timely!

We were driven between several places in Costa Rica by Julio over a 10 day period.He was a fantastic driver, full of interesting information. Always on time, courteous and just a great laugh. We (four of us), thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Danny was an excellent driver! We hired him to drive us from San José airport to our hotel in Quepos and he arrived promptly and was very communicative. He also stopped at a couple places along the way for us to see the sights and grab an excellent traditional Costa Rican lunch as well as provided excellent conversation and a Costa Rican history lesson which made it a much more enjoyable experience than a regular drive. He is extremely personable & made the long drive an easy one- I can’t recommend anyone more than Danny for your driving needs in Costa Rica! Booking through his WhatsApp was very easy & he responded promptly. +50688545969 is his WhatsApp number!

My wife and I booked Danny’s transportation services for multiple rides throughout Costa Rica during our recent Honeymoon. Every aspect of our many interactions with Danny - from booking, to communicating via text/WhatsApp, to SAFE and comfortable driving, were unmatched. His professional, funny, conversational, and easy tone, were unwavering throughout our lengthy drives.
Danny is bank of cultural and historical Costa Rican knowledge. Throughout our travels with him, my wife and I gained a deeper understanding of where we were, and where we were going.
Danny went above and beyond to explain regional traditions, nuanced linguistic variations, insights into local eateries, points of interest, animal spotting, and fun facts about himself and the areas to which we travelled.
From the start, Danny greeted us with a huge smile and a happy heart. His personality and kindness are rare and beautiful. Each drive with Danny was another opportunity to learn, explore, have fun, and laugh. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide through Costa Rica. He was a cornerstone of what was an amazing Honeymoon, and we look forward to seeing him again soon. Danny is so much more than a transportation service, he is a new friend! Thank you, Danny!

We booked private transfers from Costa Rica Drivers to take us to our different destinations during a 12-day Costa Rica Trip. Christian, our driver, drove us from San Jose to Arenal, Jaco, Manuel Antonio and back to San Jose. We recommend him highly and defenitely would use him again. He is an excellent and cautious driver. Always prompt, professional, knowledgeable about Costa Rica, flexible and accommodating to our requests.

Luis Barrantes Rodriguez (LUBARO) Is the best, most accomplished, considerate, careful, driver & guide I have had anywhere in my 80 years of travel to various countries. He has the most remarkable eyes for spotting birds and wildlife as well as his knowledge of the country. He is able to take great photos with a camera and can bring his own if you wish, letting you have the photos. I have traveled extensively in Costa Rica and Panama several times a year since 2009. Since meeting him, I travel with him several times a year, even now at 80. He can take you anywhere, help you with whatever you need, and entertain you with his extensive knowledge of places, wildlife, people, vegetation, activities in which you are interested. He knows local guides who can find special spots for your particular interest, if needed. He can arrange accommodations, etc., in any price range. He arranges whatever kind of trip you want.

Our family of 5 contracted Danny and his crew to provide our transportation throughout our trip. Before travel, Danny was easy to communicate with initially through Instagram messenger and then WhatsApp. He always responded quickly and thoroughly. Danny and another driver, Geraldo, drove us from the airport to the Poas Volcano area and then from there to Manuel Antonio and finally from Manuel Antonio back to San Jose. For each trip they were there early and were very responsive to any requests to stop for lunch, groceries and fruit smoothies. They both spoke flawless English and were so kind, professional and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Waterfall Gardens Tour- Olman Arce Mejia guide. Our guide was very nice, timely, and really friendly. He has been doing tours up in the Waterfalls for "17 years". Of course the pandemic has hit him and the industry hard. His knowledge of the area, the animals and the sanctuary are impressive. He has lived a number of years in the States and his understanding of English very good. He is also multi-lingual as well. He gave us the time and added info of each section of the sanctuary, which included a "lunch". It was advertised as a buffet lunch, but was a disappointing plate lunch. It seemed he could have worked something out better with the kitchen, has he indicated he had family who worked in the kitchen and his 17 yr working relations with the staff who he engaged quite frequently with during this tour. Therefore we did not feel he did the best he could have done for us.

Had the most incredible experience in Costa Rica and a huge part of that was our private driver- Mr. Danny! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to everything Costa Rica. He has over 20 years of driving experience and tour guide. We felt safe and comfortable. He speaks great conversational English. He was always on time, in fact early. He is great at communicating and his price is adorable. He was our personal driver the whole time. He drove from airport to hotel, San Jose to Jaco, Jaco to
La Fortuna, and back to SJ airport. The drive
Was about 4 hours to get into the Fortuna area. He stopped at local spots , great food, coffee, and smoothies on the way. We cannot recommend him enough- he is the best driver for all your transportation needs. Contact him

Hi. Sorry we didn't go this route. We hired Jody to take us on a shopping trip. Along the way he gave us a great tour of Gunnecaste. We saw refugee camps, the town and had supper at a local restaurant with him. We had booked Jody for 2 hours, but because he got tied up and was late picking us up he gave us an extra hour tour. If I remember he charged us $40 or $50. It was well worth it. Would not hesitate to recommend Jody. He truly was great. Hope this helps.

I think it was $160 for three of us. We stopped to see the crocodiles in a river.... could have stopped more if we'd asked. We had confusion about our accommodations (my fault) so our driver took us to another hotel and helped us get situated... a better location than what I'd booked initially. It was worth every penny to not have to drive ourselves and to have someone who could help out when things went wrong.

Hi i will be visiting CR in July with another buddy. We have 4 days to 5 days. Arrive Monday and leave Friday. We would love to visit Arenal, explore some rainforests, ATV, explore Jaco, maybe do some Scuba near Jaco. Can i guys assist ? We would need transportations to/from airport as well.
