We chose My Costa Rica for our first trip to this wonderful country with our three boys from 8-12 yrs old for a 10-day trip in February 2020 It was the right decision! Rebecca was responsive from minute 1 and designed a tour that perfectly responded to our wishes and within our agreed budget. She also offered suitable alternatives whenever we wished to test new ideas or to change a hotel. Lorena followed up once the trip was organised and booked. We got all relevant information ahead of the trip to help packing and planning comfortably. We were picked up perfectly on time on day D and spent one of the best family holidays ever! Their choice of hotels in Arenal, Monteverde, Tarcoles, San José, Manuel Antonio was simply great. Same for the activities. We loved the river boat down to rio penas blancas, the boat crossing in Arenal lake, the night animal tour in Arenal , the hanging bridges in Monterverde. A remarkable choice of expert drivers too, Abel and David in particular were careful drivers and experienced bird-watchers to my husband and children's delight. Monkeys by the swimming pool in Manuel Antonio, lots of unforgettable sloths, Macaws and fascinating humming birds on the feeders in Cerro Lodge and the much sough-after Quetzal at a short walking of our hotel in Monteverde... An animal-lover's paradise! l We were given contact numbers to reach out to in case of questions or trouble. We did not need to use them but felt reassuring to be supported that way. We had an amazing time and recommend My Costa Rica and its competent and charming team 100% if you are considering a visit there. THANK YOU for that wonderful family time

Hola Iryna! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review! We love planning extended multi destination packages because it gives our agency the chance to really show what we can do. We handle all the logistics of setting up hotels, transportation and tours throughout the country and our local expertise can really help to make these types of trips much easier to plan. We're glad that everything went "perfectly" during your 20 day tour! Unfortunately at the end of your trip your flights were cancelled due to COVID-19 and you couldn't return home as planned. We were happy to be there for you in country to help you adjust reservations, transfers and help anyway we could during this difficult time. We act as an "in-country concierge" and hopefully took the a little of the stress out of complicated situation. Now we just hope you'll share your photos with us when you have a chance to organize them when you get home! Pura Vida, Jason Bateman & My Costa Rica Team (CostaRica.Org)

My husband and I, in our early 70's, had heard about the beauty of Costa Rica and we wanted to see as much of it as we could in the month of Feb., 2020. Wary of planning that long a trip on my own, we decided to try Costa Rica.Org and have not been a bit disappointed. Rebeca booked our hotels and lodges, our SUV rental - all within the budget that we gave them. Every place we stayed was clean and neat, the people everywhere (not just in the service industry) were so friendly and accomodating. We stayed at the Aurola Holiday Inn for 2 nights, then drove from San Jose to Peurto Viejo on the Caribbean Coast, stayed 3 days, then to Arenal Lodge with a spectacular view of the volcano - which was actually in full view for one day - no fog or clouds at all! Lots to do in that area, with the hot springs and many attractions - 4 days there. Then we drove to Monteverde, but it was cold and rainy, and I found it uncomfortable, so we contacted Silvia at My Costa Rica and she booked us into a nice place near our next destination, in Guanacaste on the northern Pacific coast, where we spent a total of 6 days. We found our room at one place was too small, so Silvia made reservations at the beautiful beach-side resort we had stayed in originally. She was so efficient and pleasant. Next, we drove inland , then south along the coast to Punta Leone, a massive resort with 2 beaches, 2 pools, even a little grocery store! 4 days there. Then, further south along to the Pacific to Hotel Karahe, near San Antonio National Park for 3 days. We were supposed to go to San Gerardo de Dota for 3 days, but that is up in the mountains, too, so we asked Silvia if she could find us something along the coast instead, so we went a bit north and stayed in Jaco for 3 days, then back to a Hampton Inn near the airport, to fly home the next day. While there, we visited several animal sanctuaries - not zoos!! - where animals are lovingly cared for and rehabilitated into the wild if possible. The country has such respect for wildlife, that they put up with monkeys hanging around... an iguana marched across a shelf of stacked glasses in an outdoor bar, causing a lot of broken glass. The reaction was laughter and a broom to chase him away! We did two days at a hot springs resort, with a beautiful free lunch, a tram tour over the forest, a crocodile boat tour, and watched some amazing sunsets along the various beaches. Our overall impressions of the country: the people are amazing, the respect for Nature is admirable, the food was exceptional - fresh, tasty and beautifully presented, the weather was great - had only 10 minutes of heavy rain in 26 days! Driving all around the country was nerve-wracking - the only negative we found. Some roads are just paved trails, especially up in the mountain areas, drivers there are aggressive and there are motorbikes zipping in and out of traffic everywhere. I noticed that many tourists rely in local taxis and vans to get around - they are plentiful and very polite. I would love to visit even more of the country, and highly recommend the west coast, although it is more developed for tourism. But, if you prefer to be more "au naturel", you can find some lovely places for that. Honestly, the country has something for everyone - such an amazing diversity of geography wildlife and vegetation, and every vacation activity you could dream of. If you are going to the west side, I would recommend flying into Liberia, as the San Jose airport is a zoo - too small for the volume of traffic it handles. It was the vacation of a lifetime for us, and we travel around North America a lot. Fortunately, we got home just before the shutdown because of Covid-19.

My wife and I first visited CR in 2018 and had such a great time we went again this winter. I found My Costa Rica online while researching our first trip and after corresponding with them decided to let them arrange the trip. Jason and his team were able to come up with the perfect trip to meet all our needs and desires. So when planning our 2020 trip to CR it was easy to just let the experts handle all the arrangements. Once again we were very happy with all the lodges, transportation and activities that with our guidance they had booked. Everything went very smoothly and it was reassuring to know that they were always just a phone call away if needed. We will definitely be using My Costa Rica again when we explore another new area of this beautiful country.
