We used Costa Rica Shuttle service during our trip to Liberia and Cesar was our driver for two trips. We used Costa Rica Shuttle Service and the experience was excellent!!!. Very punctual, flexible on the pick up locations and stops along the way. We were a group of 7 and went to Tamarindo on the first trip and to Rincon de la Vieja (full day) for the second trip. Prices were reasonable considering that it is a private transportation and we stopped at the places we wanted to for souvenirs, food, shopping, etc and Cesar even took us on different routes so we could see more around the coastline of Costa Rica.

efficient and reliable transfer

I was very impressed with the service. I have changed my itinerary many times and they responded to all my requests promptly and offered reasonable rates. my transfer from SJO airport to SJ centre was very smooth. i was on my own and they picked me up in a clean, good condition, spacious van. driver was very nice. highly recommend CR shuttle.

We booked Costa Rica Shuttle for our airport transfer from San Jose to Los Suenos a 1.5 hour drive. Online booking was easy and their communication was excellent, once in country we communicated through WhatsApp as suggested. Our driver was on time and waiting for us right outside the exit doors holding a sign with our name on it. Just excellent service from start to finish and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Great Shuttle Service throughout Costa Rica

I would highly recommend Costa Rica shuttle for transport in Costa Rica. They were prompt , easy to reach via text or email, drivers spoke English. Drivers all friendly, and very helpful and accommodating if we needed to make a stop. We were a party of seven and went from San Jose to the La Fortuna area to stay in the rainforest and then used them to get from La Fortuna to Tamarindo and for airport transportation. All drivers on time and reliable.

We used Costa Rica Shuttle both From San Jose airport to Playa Hermosa on the Central Pacific Coast, and back again at the end of our stay. The service is excellent: They are organized, on time, and the vans are very clean and new. The driver was friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Costa Rica Shuttle, especially if you have a group of 4 or 5 people who can share the cost.

Very professional service for my round trip from San Jose, Costa Rica to Manual Antonio area, which took over 3 hours one way. I highly recommend this shuttle. Price was very fair, customer service is spectacular, I was able to modify the pickup time going back to San Jose airport very easily. Next time I need a shuttle in Costa Rica I will be hiring this company easily.

The best transport company in Costa Rica

I have used Costa Rica Shuttle multiple times while leading groups of university students on short (2 week) study abroad experiences.

Cost Rica Shuttle is organized, professional, has excellent vehicles (large and small) and outstanding drivers and online service people.

Even with our complicated multi-city and multi day-trip package of trips, drivers showed up on-time or early, were pleasant, and safe.

I would also like to add that Costa Rica Shuttle is the least expensive option I've found. Many thanks for all you did for out group!

Amazing Customer Service

We used this company to transport us from San Jose to La Fortuna, La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio and then from Manuel Antonio back to San Jose. Our flights were changed several times by the Airline Company so I had to request countless changes to our itinerary from CR shuttle. They were very responsive and incredibly kind and helpful. Our shuttle rides were anywhere from 3 hours to 5.5 hours and we were traveling with 3 small children. All the drivers we had were very patient and kind as we had to make many bathroom stops. They also suggested fun places to stop on the way to entertain the kids. The vans were very comfortable too. Our scheduled shuttle rides were several days apart from each other and in completely different towns. There was not one single issue and they were prompt and on time, every single time.

On our 1st trip, our VRBO wasn't ready yet so we had almost 2 hours of time to kill. We had a ton of luggage and the kids were tired and hot. The driver refused to just leave us with nowhere to go, so he ended up taking us to a local restaurant so we could burn some time. He let us keep all our luggage in the van and he just waited for us while we ate. He was incredibly kind and patient with us so we bought him lunch as a thank you. He refused to leave us until our house was ready. When he dropped us off, he also refused to let us help with any of the luggage, and we had a ton as we were traveling with 6 people. I cannot say enough about this company and will hands down use them again.

Completely Reliable and Friendly Service

We used Costa Rica Shuttle four different times during our trip to Costa Rica: from the San Jose Airport to Arenal, from Monteverde to Quepos, from Quepos to San Gerardo de Dota, and from San Gerardo de Dota to the San Jose Airport. In each case, no matter how remote the location, our driver showed up exactly on time, knew where he was going, and was friendly and polite. We were impressed with their reliability. Also, we had to make a change in our itinerary the day before one of the legs of the trip, and the office made the change instantly without any fuss. One of the drivers, Alex, made a point to stop and show us the Scarlet Macaws since he knew we were interested in birds. The vans are clean and well-marked. We couldn't have been more satisfied.

Fantastic Experience!

Our trip simply would not have been successful without the help of Costa Rica Shuttle. First of all, using a dedicated shuttle and driver offered an amazing value for a week-long group trip with multiple daily activities, hotels in two separate areas of the country, plus a early morning return to the airport for COVID testing before our departure. The shuttle was amazingly clean and comfortable, with plenty of air conditioning to provide relief after hours outside. In preparation for the trip, Costa Rica Shuttle was extremely responsive to our questions, and also proactive in confirming details that they needed to ensure we had the right vehicle for our group, and that they were ready at the right place at the right time to find us, despite changes to our schedule right up to the day of pick up.

But more than that, our driver, Daril, was both supremely professional and also warm and welcoming, willing to lend advice, secure reservations, load a heavy package or simply follow a schedule as needed. It was a shock to realize as we drove back to the airport that we had no idea of how much gas cost in Costa Rica because Daril made sure that the shuttle was ready to go whenever we needed it. He because a cherished part of our trip, whether he wanted to or not!

I would frankly want to hire Costa Rica Shuttle for my next trip with any size traveling party. I loved everything about Costa Rica, but I welcomed the downtime in the shuttle rather than having to be on high alert for driving in some difficult conditions (because they are not like home!) after a high adventure activity or after being soaked by a rainstorm. Why bother with all of that worry when a wonderful driver from Costa Rica Shuttle will take care of you, and if you're lucky, you may get Daril!
