Canopy Safari provides tourists a full blown adventure tour. Set in the heart of the tropical rainforest we have something for everyone. An exciting canopy zip line tour with ten zip lines, two rapel limes, a suspension bridge and a tarzan swing. We also have a butterfly garden, serpentarium, tilapia fishing ponds, a caimen lagoon, walking trails and a beautiful restaurant where we serve buffet style meals. We were the first canopy tour in the southern area of costa rica and we are still setting the standards for the safest, the best and the most exciting canopy tour in costa rica. Since 1997 we have been taking our guests out into the jungle and providing them with an unforgettable experince that they will always remember. Come and have the experience of a lifetime with us

Our extended family of four adults and four kids had an awesome time on our canopy safari zip lining trip! Would highly recommend this company filled with helpful & encouraging staff who engage you right from the start. Informative ride to the site and then just the right amount of fun while keeping safety in mind. Guides were great -... More

From the moment we arrived until our last goodbye they made sure we had a fantastic time. The guides are very knowledgable about the area. The ride out was full of information on the surrounding areas and jokes. The hike up is a hike, but not too difficult and once you are up, there is not anymore walking. The equipment... More

Our concierge at Tulemar booked us for 10:15am...I believe they have 1 earlier around 7...and 1 later around 1pm...$85 covers door to door pick up and drop off, 11 zip lines, 2-3 repels, and lunch...Andres and Alex were really enthusiastic and made everyone feel comfortable...my 3 teenage kids have been zip lining on several occasions....but there were several very young... We visited the Canopy Safari on Sunday, 8/14. We had 3 three adults (in their 40's) and two children - ages 10 and 7. I have to say this may have been the highlight of our trip and we had an awesome trip so that is saying a lot! None of us had been zip lining before and this exceeded... More

We went as a family (my wife and I, and two kids who are 4 and 6), and highly recommend it. The team were friendly, educational - explaining everything from Costa Rica's education system, palm harvesting techniques, to spotting rare animals from a great distance - and a lot of fun. They were great with the kids, both of whom... More

Canopy Safari is one of several canopy tours in the area. Our guides picked us up, Andres (don't call him Andy!) entertained us with information about the area on our drive out to the canopy. The bilingual guides were helpful, encouraging, and very entertaining. We have ziplined several times, so this was much like other ziplining experiences, but they have... More

We opted for the half day (well, 5 hour) zip wire tour at $85 per person. This included transport, lunch and a tour of a butterfly and snake attraction at the start of the zip wires. There were 6 bilingual guides for a party of 16. It was run to a very high standard. Lots of action, most of it... More

We actually heard about Canopy Safari through a man we met at a local beach who used to be a guide there. He was able to help us book a trip, and we very much enjoyed ourselves. We were picked up from our hotel in the bus and it was a little bit of a ride to get to our... More

We have a family of four with kids ages 10 and 12. We had an amazing time. The team (Luis, Alex, Jose) were entertaining, professional, and always said "safety first!". We went early in the morning, they served us breakfast, gave us instructions about the ziplining and what to expect. The trip exceeded our expectations!!! Highly recommend. Tip: use bug... More

We were on the 10 o'clock pick up which includes a typical CR lunch. The ride out was informative with details about native and imported flora. Luis was very knowledgeable and proud about his country. The zip lining was thrilling; even for one in our party who was afraid. The guides are patient and supportive and follow extreme safety protocols.... More
