My wife, twin 7 year-old sons and I joined Jimmy (guide) on a 4WD tour. It was a very enjoyable experience with the highlights being breakfast, lunch, Jimmy's wonderful demeanor, two of us tasting termites (yep we did), swimming in two waterfalls, traversing a very long/very tall rope bridge and learning a lot as we drove up the mountain and... From the pick up by the owner to the private ride with Jimmy as outer guide, we loved it. We had a bite before heading off, as the ladies were cooking ..and enjoyed our Casado Upon return. I've been going to Costa Rica for 18 years and by far this was one of the most enjoyable memorable days thanks to... More

The best way to get to know Costa Rica is with the help of the friendly people. Our family of 2 adults and 2 children ages 3 1/2 and 8 took a full-day Safari tour with guide Jimmy. He worked so hard at showing us the best of his hometown area, the mountains, the waterfalls and the rainforest. Every minute... More

This was an excellent riding trip! A guide arrived promptly to pick us up from our hotel, we were provided with a very nice breakfast, saw some toucans at their facility and then mounted our horses. My teenage daughter and I have ridden a lot and the horses were very well mannered and eager to please. We took the full... More

We had a great time venturing into the Costa Rican jungle with our horses Moreno & Coyo - and our great guide Jordy - all the stops were pulled out! We were collected from our hotel and taken to the Ranch for Breakfast, then taken to our horses, as we were on a time scale it ended up being myself... More

A great experience for newbies to horseback riding! Our guide was friendly and we felt very safe. The area was beautiful and the natural pool was amazing. The food provided was excellent as well, breakfast and lunch was provided! It was nice feeling that we were with a family run company that was known in the community. I would definitely... More

Lovely family run company! Tasty food and great location! Horses have a great temperament! Would recommend the full day tour only if you have previous horse riding experience.

My boyfriend and I were so pleased with our experience on the full day tour. Our pick up was punctual and the breakfast and lunch they served were such a treat! The horses were healthy and well trained, and our guides were knowledgeable and a joy to be around. It definitely was not your typical one pace trail ride, and... More

I can't say enough good things about Brisas del Nara. To start, we were personally picked up from our Airbnb and brought to the beautiful ranch where we were served a homemade Costa Rican breakfast complete with local coffee and fresh squeezed juice. We were then introduced to our horses and given basic riding instructions. The horses were very tame... More
