While you're in Quepos / Manuel Antonio Costa Rica you won't want to miss...

While you're in Quepos / Manuel Antonio Costa Rica you won't want to miss out on this unique, eco-friendly Segway Jungle Island tour that will put you directly on jungle trails and beaches full of wildlife.

This Segway tour includes: Segway training, safety equipment, bilingual guide, ferry fare, bottle of water, natural drink, and snacks.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes or sandals, and camera. We will also take a lot of pictures of your tour.

We provide training on the x2 off road Segway. Our guest range from "pro's" to "first time" riders, and in age from 10 to 85 years. This is the most fun you can have standing up. We teach you how to stand, ride and have a blast on our new 2014 Segway's. Our guides will have you riding like an expert within 15 minutes. We will also review all safety issues with the Segways to give you a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Tour Details - Your Segway tour starts at the Quepos Marina. We start by teaching you Segway Safety and then to ride the Segway. Segway Costa Rica will provide all required safety equipment. From the Quepos marina we will ride to the beautiful Nahomi Park. This raised park provides a great panoramic view's above the clear Pacific Ocean waters and also has a family of sloths living there. We sometimes see sloth's and spider monkeys playing in the large tree's of Nahomi park. Leaving Nahomi Park we will ride along the raised walkway that borders Quepos and the Pacific Ocean on our way to the ocean ferry that will take us to the beautiful Jungle Island just off shore called Cocal Island. You will experience Cocal and it's beauty. Cocal Island has no bridges or cars, just beautiful natural walk ways and endless beaches. Cocal is home to a small colony of friendly villagers. It is also home to the 2013 World Body Board Champion! Touring the island of Cocal we stop at a Sugar Cane Plantation and you will sample & take some fresh cut sugar cane with you. We stop at a shaded beach area where you can pick your own coconut for a natural drink. Our guides will open the coconut for you to experience it fresh. After riding on the sands of the island and touring endless walk ways and trails, we head back to the ferry and return to the Quepos Marina where our tour ends.

This tour is a must-do! Our group of 4 had no experience but superb training by Luis and Harold had us comfortable with the Segways in no time. Their customer service is outstanding, and they shared info about the culture and community while we rode along the marina, beach, and through town. We were provided with water and fruit snacks... I would recommend this segway activity to anyone. Thanks to Luis for his professionalism and wonderful company! We could discover another side of the country and enjoy a wonderful pacific beach on which we were the only ones. Take the longest option: it is really worth it! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, a great family activity which... More

We were in Manuel Antonio over my daughter's 10th birthday and she wanted to try the Segway Tour at the Marina. It seemed fun, but we had no idea how cool the tour would be. We ended up seeing a part of the town that we would never have seen, and we loved it! The longer tour is totally worth... More

Luis was amazing...we had a blast riding through Quepos and then over to the jungle island, where the local kids give you high fives as you ride by. Great views of the town, jungle and ocean. What a great way to explore and zooming down the beach was so much fun, not to mention the Segway was very easy to... More

Costa Rica Segway (Quepos) is such a fantastic tour. See if you are able to get Luis as your guide. He is perfectly bilingual, looks out at all times for your safety (I swear he has eyes on the back of his head) and also pretty funny. This was our second Segway adventure. By Segway standards I would call this... More

Our group of six went on the island segway tour which was amazing. We started at the Marina learning how to ride the segway which was easy and fun. Our guides were patient and thoroughly professional, The island was a cultural tour that was an added bonus. Great lunch afterwards capped off the tour. Great for kids and adults. Would... More

It was our first time on segways and the guides made us feel very comfortable. We were trained first, then headed out to the beach and through town. We even enjoyed watermelon and pineapple on the beach. My spouse fell off but we still enjoyed the tour. It ended with lunch at the runaway grill. Thanks luis!

My family took a Segway tour with Luis and had a great experience!! It was our first time. Luis worked with us on getting us up and running on segways, he was very patient. We were taken to the beach, through a fishing village and through Quepos. We all had a fabulous time and hope to take another Segway tour... More

This was an excellent tour and Luis was an excellent guide. Our family of four (two teens) were the only ones on the tour. Luis made sure we knew how to operate the segways before leaving the marina (none of us had ridden before). The ride through Quepos made me a little nervous as there was a lot of traffic... More
