What's not to love? This was such a great spin on the zip lining adventure. We did so much more than zip line, and all the guys were so fun and knowledgeable about the plant and animal life we saw in the forest. And we...More

I've climbed and rappelled for more than 45 years, so this excursion didn't exactly test my skills or daring but it was thrilling fun. We were a group of 6 couples ranging from 40s to 60yo, so not out of reach for most anyone who's...More

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Costa Rica. Don't be fooled into thinking this is just another zip-lining adventure. I've been zip-lining before and the day planned with Quepo Canyoning was hands-down the best I've ever experienced. Not only was the...More

There were 20 people in our group. With that number there is a lot of waiting around. I would ask them before your trip to keep the group under 10.

Yes there are lockers at base camp which is very secure behind gates. There is also staff there while you are gone that is preparing lunch so your valuables while locked up are not left alone on the premises. We felt well... More

Canyoning, Ziplining, and Horseback - Jaco (1 Reply)
Rented a house in Hermosa Palms community for trip from Dec. 26-31. Have purchased a CR Discount+ card and used that to rent a car. Anyone have any experience with Canyoning, ziplining, or horseback riding near Jaco? If necessary, I am willing to drive our group outside Jaco if it will result in a better "adventure tour." I have looked at some of the tours on Discount+ website, but am also considering, for example, the "Quepo Canyoning" tour in Quepos (which would require a bit of a drive on...More

Take a look at this tour which is practically in your backyard from Hermosa Palms. tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g309271-d3… I can't comment on canyonning in Interlaken (sorry!) The reviews are fantastic and it's incredibly close so more time for relaxation and less time on the road! Hope it helps!

Cars and fun in MA (3 Replies)
We just returned from MA and stayed in a Villa (Tranquilidad). If you have enough people in your party this is a great way to go and really was the hilight of our trip. There was an infinity pool, pool table, awsome kitchen and lots of room for everyone to spread out. We rented a 4x4 in SJ through Vamos. The cars are 3-5 years old innstead of new but our car was $380 for the week including taxes, insurance and a cell phone. A larger 4x4 was $420. You'll find the other rental places are 50%...More

Which activity? (8 Replies)
This will be our 4th time to the area since 2006 and we have done the Titi Canopy and the La Selvita. I am up for anything so what would be the best adventure between ADR Adventure Park, Mid World, or Quepo Canyoning. Thanks for your input.

ADR Adventure Park is our favorite! A great mix of 10 different activities, all set in the most beautiful part of the mountains with amazing waterfalls. Don't miss this one! Tulemar Dave
