We could not have asked for a better experience. The tour guides, the vehicles, the locations, the restaurants they took us to.... Absolutely the best travel tours I have ever experienced. If you are in reasonable physical condition and have a sense of adventure - definitely do the 100% Adventure tour and do not chicken out on the Tarzan jump... More

I have traveled from Manuel Antonio to Coco De Playa, Guanacaste. The southern zone of Costa Rica is considered the wetlands. The Northern Zone is considered the dry land. One of my favorite experiences was visiting Orosi Valley outside of San Jose, Costa Rica: The Catholic Church. The Iglesia de San Jose de Orosi is truly a national landmark. Built... More

Arenas travel was great. The shuttles used for tours were newer and aor conditioned. Our tour guides spoke Spanish and English. The drivers and guides were friendly and helpful. Need something? Just ask. The guides were knowledgeable about the areas and attractions. When a tour went over lunch great local foods were provided. Couldn't have had a better set of... More

We went on several excursions hosted by this company and we were never let down. Giovanna is more like family now and we love and miss her very much! She is the very best guide and is super educated about her country! Alex was our driver on many occasions and we felt safe at all times with him. Charlie also... More

We spent a week at the doubletree and used arenas for our day trip to Tortuga. The boat trip to the island was nice, the snorkeling spot was ok...NOT too much to see but the water was nice. While on the beach there were a lot activities to keep our group busy...everything from the Eco-walk to jet skiing. Just not... More

One of our favourite parts of Costa Rica is how you can still get a one-on-one tour with a very knowledgeable guide for a reasonable price. We booked 3 tours as well as our airport transport through Arenas travel and we are happy we did. Costa Ricans are proud of their country (as they should be!) and you can tell... More

We took 4 day trips with Arenas and used there transfer service to get to the airport after our rental car conked out. I am actually a tour guide back home, but honestly not much of a tour person, I usually find them boring and filled with useless info and a lot of touristy places you could easily find out... More

We met Geovanna 5 years ago on our first trip to Costa Rica, she had just started tour guiding. This year our friends ask us to join them on a trip back to Costa Rica. First thing I said was we have to find Geovanna. I searched and searched and luckily found her here at Arenas Travel. She picked us... More

While staying at the DoubleTree in El Roble, Puntarenas Jairo at Arena Travel helped us book a day trip excursion to the island of Tortuga and an afternoon of 4x4 off-roading. We had a great time on both trips and decided to use Arenas' services to go to San Jose and tour the city before leaving Costa Rica. Everyone working... More

We spent a week in Puntarenas at the DoubleTree and Arenas Travel was situated inside the hotel and across the street. So easy to "shop" for tours and book them right on the property. Mr. Jairo Gonzalez gave us so many choices that we ended up seeing everything we wanted! Poas Volcano, monkeys. rain forest, zip line/canopy tour and MORE!... More
