We have to start by apologising for the delay in writing this review, however it is NO reflection on how incredible our experience with Jaguar tours was. We travelled in August 2022 and did the 3 days and 2 nights tour and did not regret spending a bit extra for more time in Corcovado. Ronald was an incredible guide (and we were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour so we had him to ourselves!). He was amazing at spotting animals and giving us lots of information about them, as well as time and opportunity to observe them through his telescope. He also took STUNNING pictures for us. He was clearly so passionate about the wildlife and shared in all our excitement each time he spotted an animal. Each evening we listed the different animals we had seen that day, by the end of the tour we had seen 70+ species!!! Cristiam was fantastic at organising the trip and answering all our questions, even giving us advice on where to shop when our luggage had gotten lost traveling to Costa Rica. Much appreciated! The whole experience was truly one in a lifetime and we would recommend Jaguar tours to anyone who wants to visit Corcovado and Sirena station. Despite taking so long to write this review, this tour holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you! 🐆

We return to Galicia in love with the country and especially Corcovado. Cristiam managed everything out of 10, he explained to us everything we needed before arriving in Costa Rica and days before arriving in Puerto Jiménez and he received us with all the kindness in the world. We also had the immense pleasure of getting to know Corcovado with Pablo, an outstanding guide, lover of nature and his work. He tried to make us see as much as possible, he explained the flora and fauna to us with detail and passion, he made us some very cool videos... In short, a tuition experience. Hugely grateful :) Ah! We recommend sleeping in La Sirena, you immerse yourself much more in the environment :)

We did the 2D/1N tour hiking in from La Leona and boating out from Sirena.
We highly recommend booking with family-owned Jaguar tours. Christian was very easy to book with and was priced very competitively!
Our guide Santos was very knowledgeable and showed us many species of plants and animals along the way. We were able to see many new types of birds and many of the top animals in the area (3 types of monkeys multiple times, anteaters, many coatis, many agoutis, tapir, lizards, falcons, spiders, bats, and more!). He knows where animals tend to congregate (we were able to see tapirs getting ready for their early morning swims) and finds others through sound & smell. Sleeping at the ranger station was an experience and best way to see animals first thing in the morning when they are most active.
We would highly recommend Jaguar & Santos to anyone!

When we decided to travel to Costa Rica, this is what we were looking for, we spent the night at the Mermaid and did several hikes. The experience was incredible, both for the tour of Corcovado and the treatment and professionalism of Flora and her children was exquisite, a humble family, but with a lot of experience and living in the area.
In the hiring we were able to talk with Cris, months before going he resolved all our doubts and helped us in the processing and hiring of the Mermaid and the tour, very nice and attentive at all times.
Once there, both Flora and Ronald accompanied us at all times, Ronald is more serious, but immediately you realize the knowledge and experience he has, it is incredible the things you can learn with him, the security he gives as a guide and how he finds the animals he wants, despite the difficulty that entails given that animals are unpredictable on many occasions.
We were able to tour in the morning, in the afternoon and the next day at dawn, being able to see different animals at different times of the day, some of them endemic and very close up. Not only the fauna, the environment is a natural place that you can find in few places and we could see the sunset on the beach.
Thanks for this experience, expect only good recommendations from me!!!

GREAT! Great experience offered by Jaguar Corcovado Tours in the activity of two days sleeping one night in Siren. To highlight the great professionalism and dedication of the guide Ronald, who, thanks to his energy and, above all, his experience, made it possible for us to see all the animals possible in those days (tapir, anteater, toucans, monkeys, snakes, spiders, agoutis, crocodiles, alligators...) in addition to dolphins and whales during the journey between Puerto Jimenez and the entrance to the park.

We got the one day tour of Sirena and it was perfect. Tour guide was great at spotting animals and even made animal sounds to help bring them closer. Things I wish I had known before the tour: no single use disposable plastic bottles allowed and no outside food allowed in the park. Great experience and jaguar made it so easy to organize from the US

We booked a tow day tour with this company because we wanted a small, less touristic tour to explore the jungle. The owner of the company was very nice and promised us that the guide is great and that he knows to take our request into consideration.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.. the guide was not considerate and seems to be impatient to us.
We were disappointed and don't recommend the overnight.. a day tour is enough, doesn't matter which company they all do the same routes..
Enjoy

The best National Park in Costa Rica to see animals, and Jaguar Corcovado Tours are the best agency. Many mammals, boat trips and perfect management. I will recommend this agency and this park to all my friends, it is very worth it despite being one of the most expensive parks. It is spectacular

As a family, we booked a 3-day tour in Corcovado National Park. From the first email contact to the end of the trip, everything went perfectly and Christiam answered all of our questions and concerns quickly and competently. Guide Michael met us in Puerto Jimenez and we hiked from La Leona to Sirena Station. The hike was incredibly beautiful and led us along the sea and through the forest. Michael kept showing us new animals along the way that we probably wouldn't have seen without him.
Waking up in Corcovado Park was a very nice experience with the sounds of the jungle. There was plenty of food and drink in Corcovado Park. One highlight was that we saw tapirs, anteaters and even crocodiles.
Guide Micheal was very friendly and attentive and made our stay unforgettable.
Thank you very much for the impressive and eventful tour!

Choosing Jaguar Tours was a no brainer for us. We were extremely pleased with Ronald and Cristiam’s attentive nature. Here is why we would recommend their service to anyone:
• Ronald, our guide took the time to explain how each animal has its own method to
survive in the jungle.
• His expertise in spotting animals within the dense rainforest was impressive, our
untrained eyes would have missed the majority of the species he pointed out.
• He was also accommodating to one of us having an injured leg.
• Overall, when visiting the jungle you want to feel safe while simultaneously seeing
exotic animals, and our guide did just that!

Please tell us about the hiking tours that stay over night. Are you staying in the park? how many nights is this hike?
We fly into San Jose on March 7th early morning. Where would we fly to meet you for the Corvovado park tour/
Where do you recommend we stay for 2 or 3 nights after we finish with your tour?

We are 2 seniors (65 & 69) spending the day at Golfo Dulce while on a Windstar Cruise January 19, 2016 (8 am to 4 pm)
We would like to hire a guide for Parque Nacional Corcovado (Sirena Station??) or similar day hiking experience in the area. Would you know of a guide available to pick us up where the ship is docked and take us for a tour in the area that day? Thanks for a reply. Monica Heseman, Jacksonville, FL USA

Good afternoon Monica
Thanks for contact us, my name is Cristiam from Jaguar Corcovado Tours, and for sure we can find you a good and certified tourist guide !! who can accompany you to the Corcovado one day hike.
But before, let me tell you that there are some things about the tour that you need to know, in fact of schedules, transports, and others.... but I will explain you every detail, so you can plan your visit properly
Tourist guide, entrance tickets, tropical fruits and transport, is all that we include and need for a one day hike in the Corcovado Park, but this last item (the transport) is the most important at the time to set a good itinerary, so here are this options, you can select the ones that apply better to your plans and preferences, by the way...we arrange everything !!
TRANSPORT: There are 3 diferent means of transportation to get to Carate (the entrance to Corcovado)
**The Colectivo: Is the public transpor, is a truck adapted with seats in the back part, that has a schedule, at it departs from Puerto Jimenez daily at 6.00, it "moves" and jump a lot along the route, is the cheapest one ant take around 2 hours from Puerto Jimenez to Carate, and come back from Carate at 4:00 pm (getting to the town around 5.40 pm)
** Private taxi: You can hire one of this at anytime...more faster, private, but expensive, usually takes 1.30 hours from Puerto Jimenez, to Carate (If you are planning to departs from Puerto Jimenez at 8.00 am, one taxy will be needed)
**Plane : Yes !! you can fly from here to Carate in a Cessna 206, only 15 minuts from Puerto Jimenez, to Carate´s airstrip, this too is a private service, and can departs and come back when you want it

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
