We booked a two-day tour visiting Corcovado National Park, with an intermediate/high level of physical activity (~35 km hiking in two days) for five people. The activities, tour guide, and lodge/food excelled our expectations.

We contacted different travel companies, and Osa Green offered us the tour that best fit our needs. It included a boat ride and hiking in a primary and secondary forest along the beach and rivers around La Sirena, La Leona, and Carate. We had the good luck of observing many different animals, including monkeys, terrestrial mammals, birds, and even dolphins. We hiked in contrasting landscapes, crossed rivers, saw the sunrise in a lagoon, and had lunch at a beautiful waterfall. We never imagined seeing and learning so much in just only two days!!

The guide can significantly affect the tour and park experience. Our guide was Carolina, a cheerful and easy-going person, who transmitted to all of us her love and respect for nature and the Osa peninsula. Furthermore, she was very patient and prepared for answering all our questions (and we had thousands since we study/work in activities related to biological sciences). Whenever we saw something interesting, we would make a stop to take the time to observe it, and she will explain it to us, but at the same time, she made us keep pace to finish the hike. She knew plenty about mammals, birds, plant species, ecology, and environmental conservation. Carolina made our experience incredible.

We booked our tour very few days in advance in high season, and La Sirena Station was full. So Osa Green offered us to sleep in Carate, next to Corcovado, in a lodge owned by local people from the peninsula (Manuel). The lodge was modest, but the beds were very comfortable and clean, the same as the bathrooms and dinner area. We were served delicious food by Manuel’s family, hearing stories about the park and the region. The next day, Manuel even took us to a fully ecological school built in bamboo, with solar electricity and a system to collect rainwater. Sleeping in the jungle and waking up with the howling monkeys and birds was incredible.

We highly recommend Osa Green and believe they will offer the tour that best fits your needs!

During September of 2022, my spouse and I, along with our two daughters, their spouses, and our two grandchildren visited the Osa Península in Southwestern Costa Rica. Osa Green Travel handled a major part of our trip. The owner, Cindy Boulanger, speaks fluent French, English, and Spanish. She was always available (via WhatsApp – text or phone) to answer any questions we had concerning our itinerary and responded promptly to each one.

She handled our reservations for a wonderful eco-lodge (La Tarde), arranged a van with driver, and set us up with an excellent guide, Gerson Cedeño Sequeira. Gerson was outstanding. His knowledge of Osa wildlife was amazing and he was extremely personable. We continue to remain in contact with him. Cindy also organized a whale-watching adventure that she scheduled to do during our return trip to Puerto Jiménez. The timing was perfect.

Finally, she recommended and gave us contact numbers for a hotel in San Jose and a hotel in Puerto Jiménez. We made both booking ourselves and had no difficulty doing so. They were perfect for our needs.

This was by far our best trip to Costa Rica. We highly recommend Osa Green Travel and plan to use them again in the near future.

Excellent experience. Great communication and service start to finish. Our itinerary was arranged seamlessly and delivered as promised. Our guide Carlos was amazing..spotting animals at a distance and making sure everyone had a good experience. More importantly he was vigilant while keeping us all together, safe and at a reasonable pace to avoid high tides at river crossings. All while carrying what appeared to be heavy equipment for ten hours.
Sirena station was also clean, comfortable and well run.
Overall one of my best hiking and nature experiences.
*Two day Corcovado tour. Walk in/boat out.

We did the 2 days, 1 night sleepover in Sirena ranger station. A boat in and a hike out. Our guide could be more engaged and could definitely work on acquiring more knowledge and experience of the Corcovado. She was cautious which was needed for safety but got the feeling that she was a bit unmotivated. The first day in the tour was the best as we had time to stop and stare different creatures. The second day, 20km hike in 35 Celsius was VERY tough. Wouldn’t repeat that. If you have the choice I would advice boat in and boat out so you spend more qualitative time. 2 stars.

We did an amazing 2 day hiking tour in Corcovado national park. The park is beautiful and the beaches pretty empty. We stayed at La Leone lodge which was wonderful. Our guide Yeri was fantastic - he knew so much about the local area and we were able to see many different animals/ types of wildlife with his help. This was a highlight of our trip in Costa Rica and would recommend to anyone looking to do a tour in Corcovado.

We did the 2 day tour in Corcovado National Park, with a night at La Sirena and it was the park where we saw most animals than any another park we did in Costa Rica. Thanks to Carlos, our guide, we could observe many birds, tapirs, Pecaris, coatis, ant-eaters, its favorite! He was so happy when he found the silky one! We could see he's passionate about animals! And above all, thanks to him again, we've seen a jaguar!!! It was amazing and unexpected for us!
Food in Sirena is really good and full! The 2nd day we did the hike to Carate, walking alternatively in the jungle and in the beach. It's a long hike (mostly flat) but we saw animals too and beautiful beaches. Even if it was very hot and wet, we were very happy to do it.

The Osa Green Corcovado walk in boat out 1 night tour was awesome. Carlos was outstanding, his skill for finding and photographing the animals via a cell phone was amazing. Would request Carlos again. Sirena station was wonderful, clean, good food, great facilities. Highly recommend this tour for those physically able to handle the hike, prepare well

This was an experience of a lifetime! Carlos our guide went above and beyond for our group, finding us some coconuts to eat while hiking, going back into the jungle at night and during the day to find a lost phone! He also helped take some amazing animal photos for us. Highly recommend:)

We had an incredible day with Melvin seeing all kinds of animals, birds, insects, and plants. Never go without a guide because you will miss 97% of what is out there. Osa Green Travel was a painless set up, excellent communications, and top notch professionals. Do a private tour and cut out the frustrations of inconsiderate people who don’t care about your time. It is well worth the money.

I can not recommend this company enough. Cindy was great, she gave us some great advice and we booked a day and night trip into the jungle and a boat trip. She matched us up with some lovely guides. Gerson our guide for the day and night trip was amazing, really passionate and knowledgeable about the environment. Jairo took us by boat around the Gulfo Dulce and we saw some cool stuff. Two of the best days of our vacation!!
