Cabinas Jimenez offers a nice boat tour of the Golfo Dulce that makes a stop at the Osa Wildlife Sanctuary, makes a stop at a nice little snorkeling reef, and searches for whales, dolphins, and other wildlife. The tours are only offered when there are enough people interested. The staff is very good at doing what they can to get... More

While staying at Cabinas Jimenez, Ann arranged a tour to see the Dolphins, Snorkel and visit the OSO Wildlife Sanctuary. We ended up seeing so many dolphins and the snorkeling was so great we skipped the Wildlife Sanctuary. It was a beautiful day on the water and it was like glass. At one point there were literally hundreds of bottle... More

This tour blew all the tours I've been on in the US out of the water. AMAZING! So many dolphins, great information about the area and fun snorkeling as well. Highly recommend.

Really fun to see the pod of Dolphins - don't think you are allowed to plane board or get in the water with them anymore (which is likely good for conservation). Snorkeling was a total bust - we are spoiled from Hawaii - but there is no reef, and what is there, is dead. Highlight was trip to Osa Wildlife... More

I had asked the owner to arrange a tour for us a few months in advance and he said that he would try and set it up if he could get enough people to do the tour. We took a very early flight into Puerto Jimenez and after getting a cab to the hotel they were right there to greet... More

This is a great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, right on the water. Most, if not, all of the rooms have AC, which is much needed in the sultry, humid weather. Room rates are a little bit more expensive than surrounding properties, but in this case, you get what you pay for. There is no breakfast. The grounds are immaculate, their... More

Wanted to get word out that this was an unbelievable tour today. Went in search of whale shark first but unsuccessful. On our way back there were hundreds of dolphins. No lie. This was a great trip. Very enjoyable, even on a cloudy day.

The boat was comfortable; the guide - Josh, was great and very knowledge; we saw lots of dolphins; nice selection of fruits and snacks were served on board. The plane-boarding was amazing for one of us but the rest felt rushed. Our only wish: better control of the schedule and set of the expectation. We requested that plane-boarding was the... More
