Pablo was fantastic. We did an overnight trip in Corcovado during the rainy season with two kids (both under 5). He was fantastic, balancing finding great things for the kids to look and keeping it interesting for the adults. His vision was great, he found tons of animals and educated us on the flora and fauna of Corcovado. He was also tireless in finding the famous Tapir and made sure we saw everything we had hoped for (except the leopard lol.. Good luck finding that!).

Pablo took us on a wonderful tour of Corcovado. He was very quick to detect animals just from a sound or a small movement and very knowledgeable about them. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an experience in the Corcovado reserve!

My father and I did multiple tours with Pablo. We did a day hike in the national park Corcovado. And did some local tours around de Osa Peninsula. Pablo is an amazing guide who is enthousiastic and cares deeply for animals and nature. I went to the region as a wildlife photographer and I can tell you he is the best spotter you will ever see. He did find all kind of amphibians and reptiles (poison dart frogs, a snake and all the birds in the area) If you look for a personal guide who will give you the best opportunity to shoot some amazing pictures contact Pablo!!

Not long ago me and my mother went on a hike with Pablo as our tourguide. He is a wonderful guide with an enormous knowledge of the forest, its animals and plants. he spots all birds and other creatures and gives you enough time to observe, take pictures and enjoy. you never feel rushed and can take all time you need. He can give you a lot of specific information about animals and plants. You start to understand how the Jungle and its inhabitants work together as an ecosystem and also how every species works itself. he was always sensitive to our wishes and needs. but also careful to protect the forest and its inhabitants. He‘s very respectful with the nature, and teaches that behaviour in a good way to the tourists. We saw more then 20 different birds, doing all sorts of things. could observe all four kinds of monkeys and take a refreshing bath in the waterful of mastatal. You can feel that his job is his passion. Also he‘s very fluent in English.

A couple of weeks ago my friend and I took a tour to the Corcovado National Park. It was our most exciting experience in Costa Rica and a big part of it was our guide Pablo from Osa Dreamcatcher Tours. We came to Osa unprepared and got in contact with Pablo by chance. But it could not have worked out better for us! Pablo was extremely knowledgeable and observant. Corcovado has an amazing and abundant wildlife. But it is often difficult to spot. Pablo could spot animals from afar and he knew really a lot about every species we saw. Even more impressively he could imitate voices of a lot of birds and some mammals and some of them did respond to him! During our 20 km hike to Sirena ranger station in addition to multiple reptile (viper!) and bird species we saw peccary, coati, aguti, 3 monkey species and my favorite – tapir (a mother with a baby!). We had an overnight tour and when you spend 2 days with a person, good communication is important. Pablo has a cool vibe a great sense of humor – we had a lot of fun together. It was very interesting to learn from him about the life on Osa peninsula. Pablo is very passionate about conservation, but also about engaging the local communities in these efforts. When we asked him about the mangroves in the Golfo Dulce, Pablo told us so much about the ecosystem and about the challenges in its preservation, so that we got excited and decided to take a kayaking tour in the mangroves with Pablo. It was my first time kayaking and in addition to seeing mangroves for the first time, it made for a great experience. Osa has a lot more to offer and we might be back! If you are planning to visit Osa, definitely contact Pablo at Osa Dreamcatcher Tours!
