If you are looking to try surfing for the first time, or are a long time surfer and want your family to join in- this is the place for you. My wife and I have only tried surfing a couple of times and our children age 6 and 9 have never been on a surfboard before. The owners and coaches... More

This was an amazing trip. We traveled with our 3 kids, ages 8, 10 and 12. The camp accommodated us perfectly. It was a great fit. I honestly had some pretty high expectations going into this trip, mainly because all the reviews were so positive. It had me a little suspicious. However, PNS delivers. You will have the time of... We had a really great time with Peaks and Swells. Everything from the food to the acoomodations was great and everyone in the family enjoyed it. The location affords many options for surf and we had some great waves. The standout in my mind was the really excellent poeple that Peaks and Swells employs - from the cooks to surf... More

I have to agree with all the other reviewers - our week of family surf camp completely surpassed expectations. We went based on the recommendation of a friend, and from before we even booked our trip, Hillary was amazingly responsive and helpful by email - sending travel info, offering recommendations on places to stay after camp ended, and answering a... Hillary and Ryan run a surf camp and bed-and-breakfast. If you enjoy an active vacation that allows you to do something amazing and new, and also get some hammock time while your kids enjoy entertaining themselves, this is the place for you. The surf training is exceptional: highly individualized, fun, challenging, encouraging and really effective. Ryan and Hillary care deeply... More

We booked a family surf camp thinking it would be a nice introduction to surfing for the kids. What we got was a once in a lifetime experience. The people, the food, the surfing...all perfect! The staff went above and beyond anything we imagined. They took care of us better than any family. In fact, we feel like they are... More

I booked this trip on the recommendation of a very good friend, and after speaking with him at length, my expectations were high. My family(wife and I and 3 very active boys!) just returned from our stay... And I will say that Peaks n Swells exceeded those expectations in almost all facets of our visit. Food: the food at PnS... Our family had an amazing experience learning to surf here in 2013 from Hillary and her team of professional instructors. That trip ranks as the best family vacation we have ever had. All four of us learned to surf: mom, dad, 13-yr-old daughter and 10-yr-old daughter. Two years later, I tried another surf school a little closer, in Puerto Rico.... More

As first time surfers (and full time computer geeks), I was a bit nervous about taking my family on a surf vacation. What if we didn’t like surfing, what would we do then? What would my boys of 6 and 8 do if they couldn’t do it? Fortunately, I didn’t really need to be worried about that at all. The... More

Just returned from an 8 day surf camp with 8 other women and wish I could go back for a spring session!! Having never surfed before and very little experience in the ocean, I had success with surfing and made friends with those powerful ocean waves! I found myself waking up naturally at 5:45 every morning just out of pure... More
