Relatively easy hike to bottom of first waterfall; challenging climb/hike to top of the waterfall. We met others at the top who had taken ATVs and drove there on the road. Easy and safe to do the 10 foot jump. Rocks are painted white so that jumpers know where to safely jump from. Tarzan swing into same pool of water.... More

We rode horses there which was a nice way to travel to get there. Cooled off in water and then rode back.

We set off early in the morning (7am) to try and avoid the mid day heat. Although this meant we had to find the route ourself, having no one to follow. We found our way fine to the first waterfall which was magnificent! We then bumped into another couple who couldn't find a way to the 2nd waterfall. They had... More

Same review as the canopy tour as I believe it is the same attraction. Just tried to ad some photos to the equation. Great afternoon

Absolutely beautiful waterfall that is the nicest to swim in out of any waterfalls in Costa Rica. The waterfalls are situated just a short walk out of town and do not require a taxi to reach. I would recommend bringing water shoes or water sandals as the walk to the waterfalls goes through a creek and can be quite difficult... More

We arrived around 11:00 and parked our ATV at the waterfall parking wwhich suprisingly costs almost $2. Coming with sandals we soon realized that closed shoes would have been more convenient for the walk to the fall. The walk itself is not too long (15min.) or hard and mostly shady. The fall itself has a nice refreshing deep pool and... More

Exhilarating experience to be here. The hike is not that easy and definitely slippery but it's great to be at the top and jump (I only dared to the little jump, but the big one seemed even more awesome). Good place to go, although not if you are in shape I guess

Quite a long walk over rocks through the hills but well worth the view and swim. You can not climb the falls as it is dangerous but the water is lovely.

A dangerous trip to a nice waterfall swim but make sure you check the weather up the mountain as 2 people a year are rumored to die here being caught in flash floods. Suggest the experiece of a local to guide if you can find one

Go see this waterfall if you are ever in the area! Montezuma village is a small cozy town, with a great vibe! Just next to the Hotel La Cascada there is a small parking lot, where we parked our Atv for 1000 colones (2 dollars) while we hiked to the waterfall. The hike requeres good shoes, as you have to...
