Nice little beach to walk along, very close to town. Better swimming beaches short walk out of town. Always guard your belongings.

This nice, small beach is nice to walk along, or sit and gaze at the ocean, but there are better beaches for swimming, such as the beach on the northeast side of Montezuma. The rocks at either edge of the little bay are really cool...More

Simply stunning and worth a stop! So picturesque and close to the very quaint Montezuma townsite which is worth a half day at least.

I got caught up on a rock under the water while we were swimming. Cut up my shin, hand and feet pretty good. Be careful! No one warned us about the rocks!

Very nice and relaxing beach. Walking distance to many food establishments and small motels, hostels and cabinas. Right in the center of town.

Love this little beach town and of course the beach itself. Great waves to play in, beautiful sand. The little town has some great little restaurants to eat in. One of my favorite little beach towns in the Nicoya Peninsula

The waves are glorious here. Catch them at mid tide or low tide for the best experience. A bit rocky in spots but you'll see where everyone is swimming and playing in the water. Take a snack with you and make your visit into a...More

My boyfriend and I spent time and enjoyed this beach more than we thought we would. It has great swimming and does not feel overly crowded for a beach in the center of all of the action. Easy parking and go to Chicos for a...More
