This was a great day trip from Manuel Antonio! We loved every minute of it and our guide Cristian was the best!! He is from Manuel Antonio and very knowledgeable about the history of the area. It started out by arriving on secluded private land and having a nice cup of coffee. Then we hiked to an amazing suspension bridge and waterfall where you can swim if you like. We took our time and enjoyed the water and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Then, after we hiked and swam in the beautiful water we went to a local private home for the best homemade authentic Costa Rican meal. Cristian took lots of photos and sent them to us at the end of the day. It was a beautiful day and well worth your time!! It is truly an amazing experience like no other! Highly recommend this Mulguri Waterfall Adventure!!

Out of all the excursions we did this one was our favorite, A priceless experience. We loved all of it; the ride with Shaggy, the horses, suspension bridge and waterfall but our favorite part was lunch with the family. Grandma made an excellent meal and said if we didn’t have 3 servings we would have to do the dishes...haha. They also served fresh lemonade and excellent coffee. I would recommend this trip to all and would do it again.

My husband and I went on the Mulguri adventure today and absolutely Loved it. We started with a horseback ride down to a long hanging bridge over a peaceful mountain river, then went to the waterfall. Before swimming in the waterfalls, we took a short hike up to another hanging bridge which gave beautiful views of the entire valley and the waterfalls below. My husband absolutely loved diving off the rock into the tropical river at the base of the waterfall. With blue and yellow butterflies around, it was quite idyllic. We then went to the home of a sweet family that lives near the waterfall and enjoyed a delicious typical “authentic” Costa Rican lunch. The family was so kind and gracious. Our guide Shaggy was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We saw two species of toucans, iguanas, and squirrel monkeys. It was definitely a highlight of our week in Costa Rica!!
