A real small heaven hidden behind the beautiful jungle of the Shana by the beach hotel where we stayed one week in September 2020. water was clean and clear until we could see some beautiful fishes.

Even in corona time we have enjoyed this small paradise. We were allowed to be there until 2:30 pm, so we were there ver y early to spend máximum time. We stayed at the Shana By The Beach Hotel which has direct access to this beach, so that was a big advantage. We recommend both beach & hotel.

A beautiful beach hidden behind a judge jungle infront of the Shana Hotel where we stayed. Clean water and no waves at all. It was the best beach we visited in Costa Rica.

Bautifull beach, more peaceful and less waves than playa Manuel Antonio. Sand is light gray, some bottom rocks on the left side. To get there have to go down a path from the main road. Its worth the try.
