Manuel was an amazing guide who went out of his way to provide the best service. Extremely kind and knowledgeable, he shared his local insights about the region and it’s nature with us. We travelled with a toddler and he organized a stroller for us that could handle the terrain of the park. A wonderful and warm human being!! Thank you, Manuel!

Muchas Gracias dear 542maneeshg, I (Manuel) am going to start my response to your review using the same words I originally shared with you... I was so so happy to be there with you amigos! After many months without exploring I was super ready. I want to personally thank you for mentioning about the stroller, that’s something we are adding to all our private tours (not extra charge) we are concern and understand traveling with kids can be difficult sometimes. We hope to make our customers vacations a bit more relaxing and memorable! Once again, thank you very much for visiting beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park and hiring our services as professional naturalist tour guides. Pura Vida! I cannot express how much I loved each and every one of the 3 tours we took with Manuel's Tours. With the exception of seeing a puma, which we knew would be an unlikely encounter (and it was not for lack of trying --Manuel, our guide and owner of the company tried so hard to help us find a puma while we were in Corcovoda!) :), we saw nearly every animal on our wish list (including a momma Tapir and her baby), the guides were MORE than knowledgeable and the respect the company has for animals is remarkable. We had so much fun and we just really loved the service and quality and care taken for each of the tours! The viewing scopes were FANTASTIC and we got some really neat images to share (among others, my night walk images of the famous Costa frog are the National Geographic -esque kind of stunning). I would not hesitate to recommend Manuel's Tours to anyone who is lucky enough to visit Costa Rica. We will be back and Manuel's Tours will be our first choice for tour companies to use! And if you get the chance to do a tour with Socio, one of Manuel's Tours guides --take it! his unbridled enthusiasm for all that nature has to offer is both contagious and unparalleled!

We did 2 different private tours. The night walk and the Manual Antonio park tour. Both of guides were amazing and were experts at picking out wildlife and insects. Almost everything that we saw, we would never have found on our own. Both guides also took pictures using my phone through their scopes. I can't believe how well those pictures came out. I highly recommend using them.

We highly recommend booking a tour. Our tour guide, Manuel, was great. He was really good at finding animals and we saw both 2 and 3-toed sloths (even a baby); white-faced, howler, and squirrel monkeys; lots of birds, iguanas, lizards, butterflies, moths, bats. He had spotting scope so we could see the animals really clearly and he took pictures with his iphone through the scope, which he air dropped to us. We came away with awesome photos. We did a private tour with just 2 of us and really enjoyed the pace and personal attention. We recommend a private tour. All-in-all a great day.
