The Manuel Antonio Park is a wonderful nature preserve that includes all the sorts of native animals you'd want/hope to see (monkeys, colorful birds, multiple kinds of iguana, and the like) plus unexpected things like tiny deer who are native to Costa Rica. Our guide, Paulo Gonsalves, had a keen eye for finding well hidden critters and providing interesting details... More

We used MA Expeditions to get a guide to Manuel Antonio park and also to take us as a private transfer back to the airport. Our guide at the Park, Paul, was great. We saw lots of iguanas, frogs, sloths, monkeys, a deer, and a lot of plant life. He also told us interesting information about Costa Rica. The person... More

Did the booking late in the evening for next morning and everything went smoothly. These guys really care. We saw monkeys of course, but also many other interesting animals and plants. Very informative tour. Group size was about 10, and our 2-year old daughter enjoyed the company of older children in the group.

This was our second trip to Manuel Antonio National Park and the first time we did not have a guide but just explored on our own. What a difference our guide, Juan, made! We saw creatures we did not know existed and both the 2 and 3 toed sloths, monkeys, bats, racoons as well as spiders, etc. Juan not only... More

Our guide turned an ordinary transport to the airport into a pleasurable trip. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. I just wished we had known about him for all of our other excursions that we took. What a pleasure he was. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Awesome Guides and Beautiful Animals. Go with a guide the first time, then have insane awareness and a $3,000 telescope to find what is invisible to the tourist.

We found this tour on trip advisor under Aguila tours but they are both owned by Juan Brenes, who is highly recommended for tours of Manuel Antonio Park. We did have problems getting a reply to both e-mail addresses, but when we got to Costa Rica we rang from a hotel and Juan Brenes organised for us to be met... More

My girlfriend and I went on a mangrove tour with Manuel Expeditions during our stay in Manuel Antonio. Our tour guide Pablo, was extremely knowledgeable and also entertaining. during our tour. We were fortunate enough to experience a group of white face monkeys up close as they played with us on the boat-it was an incredible experience. We also got... More

better to opt for a private tour(approx $30 per person, includes Park Admission) your Guide will take much better photos using a telescope to see the animals)
