Manuel Antonio Expeditions did an amzaing job understanding the unique wants and needs of my family (kids ranging from 8 to 18, parents and grandparents) and customizing our experience to make everyone happy. We let them know what we liked and hoped to experience and they delivered exactly that and more. Of our week in Costa Rica - we spent... More

This company was a recommendation by a friend of ours who has been to Manuel Antonio dozens of times and has always used the same company. Glad we took his advice because we would no have seen a lot of the things we did without Edgar, our guide for that day. He spoke great English but was courteous enough to... More

I was pleasantly surprised as to the quality and professionalism of our tour guide, Juan. He spoke impeccable English and knows the park inside and out. Without Juan we wouldn't have seen 95% of the plants and animals we wound up seeing. He's a warm, friendly local from Quepos, who is like a rain forest whisperer. Even has a little... More

We went on a guided tour of the park with Edgar Avila, an approved guide who was very knowledgeable and whose English was excellent.

We liked everything about our tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and skilled at pointing out the most elusive inhabitants of the forest.

We were on a major bugdet, but the tour was worth it. We tried without help to see the animals- I'm a biologist and typically do okay. However, we weren't seeing as much as the guided tours. The guides are funny, knowledgeable and most importantly, they have telescopes. I have a nice SLR, but it still was immensely beneficial to... More

I definitely recommend paying for the guided tour of Manuel Antonio. The guides help each other spotting things and we definitely saw things we would not have if we didn't have a guide.

My husband, two daughters (22 and 20 years old), and I came to CR during the Thanksgiving break. It rained quite a bit but we decided to brave the weather and venture to MA Park. After doing a ton of research on Trip Advisor, we booked a tour with Manuel Antonio Expeditions. Juan was just fabulous as a guide--from email... More

Our group of four have all traveled before so weren't too crazy about hiring a guide. We were so wrong! Within five minutes it became clear to us that having a guide in MA is MUCH more informative and fun. Juan Brenes was our guide. He and the other professional guides made it very clear that there is a HUGE... More

If you are traveling to the Manuel Anotonio area, DO NOT DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF THIS EXPERIENCE! Hands down, they most memorable part of my trip to Costa Rica. If you are really lucky, Pablo will be your tour guide. His expertise of the wildlife and ecosystem of the area is impeccable, but perhaps more importantly, it is his enthusiasm and... More
