We loved this tour! Very informative presentation on herbs and their uses. We examined plants in their natural setting and learned so much about vanilla. Christopher was excellent and the treats we sampled were amazing. I hope to return in the future with my family.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Villa Vanilla back in February. We traveled with three generations, and it was a tour that everybody enjoyed. Loved tasting the cocoa pods, nibs, and small chocolate samples along with the cinnamon and peppercorn. We toured the spice farm two days ago, with Christopher as our guide. It was a wonderful experience. It was also a great way to experience new spices and tasted recipes that utilize the spices. We particularly enjoyed sampling the home made vanilla ice cream + chocolate at the spectacular viewing area. Highly recommend!…

He shared stories, legends and of course, true accounts of how vanilla, cocoa, turmeric, oregano, ginger, cardamom, all spice, cinnamon, cloves, holy basil, black and white peppers...the list goes on! Towards the end of the tour we were lead to their “tree house” and served great taste testing samples of their hibiscus tea, cocoa tea and a variety of home made cookies and vanilla bean ice cream. A true treat! Only 20 minutes away from the beaches of Manuel Antonio. Make sure to stop by their spice store. Bathroom were very clean. …
