Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He made sure everyone saw the animals when he spotted the various birds and sloths. He really made the 3 hour walk enjoyable.

This tour gives you a fascinating view inside the mangrove swamps, which form such a crucial part of the eco-system of this coastline. Make sure you pick the boat tour, so that you can take photos of all the birds, capucin monkeys and different mangroves. Jeremiah was our excellent guide and Andres the observant boatman in the stern. The highlight... More

We had an afternoon tour and it was so much fun! The guides were energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were there the same time as another family, but it still felt like a very personal trip. Halfway through, we stopped briefly to enjoy the water and the scenery. Our group (3 people) had William as our guide, and he made... More

The river was shallow at this time of year and gave a different kind of excitement. At times, we got hung up just before a big drop, wedged between rocks with water flowing into the raft, and turned around backwards going down the rapids. It was all good fun. Our guide Wesley worked hard navigating the shallow water with us... More

After being picked up from our hostel right on time, we headed to the marina (with a stop at the office for everyone to pay the remaining balance of the tour), then hopped onboard the catamaran. First stop, a little way out to sea to a popular dolphin spot. Here we saw dolphins swim alongside the boat. Sometimes whales are... More

I had booked the Nature Hike through the Manuel Antonio National Park and loved it! Our guide, Mauricio was awesome! We saw all kinds of wildlife! Monkeys, lizards, iguanas, birds, sloths, caterpillars... so much! The best part is you could place your smart phone against the telescope and take a picture! It made it seem like you were so close!... More

Iguana is an excellent organization. Met us on time. Divided us into groups of ten or less. All the guides have spotting scopes. You will see sloths, monkeys, iguanas, bats, birds, insects, etc. Bring smartphone to take photos through the scope. Fabian was very knowledgable and personable. Iguana has several guides. Competing companies seem similar in their equipment and organization.... More

Fabian is the youngest tour guide at Iguana. He is enthusiastic and dedicated to making sure you have a great experience. He spotted monkeys, lizards, sloths, and bats in the jungle. He used a monocular on a tripod for spectacular viewing. He also was able to place my iPhone camera on the lens to take great close-ups. I've attached a... More

It was not a very big/fancy boat but it was well presented and clean, the crew was very friendly, the food was fine, 4+ hours tour, I would definitely recommend.
