We hired Geo as our driver on our recent trip to CR. SJO Airport to Our Airbnb in MA, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Our family of 7 were very happy with him as he stopped as we needed on a 3 hour drive.(happy he stopped at the alligator Brigde) Not only is he a very safe, personable and capable driver... You feel very comfortable in his presence and instantly feel like you have known each other for years. If your looking for a trustworthy, safe, reliable driver on your trip , I highly recommend GMG Transfers & Tours.

Geo is awesome.
Geo picked us up at the airport in San Jose and took us to Nativa. On the way he was gracious enough to stop us at a grocery store, a restaurant to pick up food and the bridge where we say some serious crocodiles. His vehicle had Wi-fi so I was able to catch up on some work on the hour and 15 minute drive. Geo is engaging and answered our ton of questions the whole time allowing us to feel that we comfortable and confident in his answers. He is very friendly and the customer service was the best

Geo is incredible - he is friendly and speaks perfect English (many people in Costa Rica speak Spanish and some English but Geo is fluent in English which was very helpful as we did not speak Spanish), he is patient (we were a bachelor party and some people ran late at times), he stopped to show us some really cool spots along the way which including seeing crocodiles in the wild and the best lunch that we had during our stay, and overall his prices were very very reasonable and cheaper than many competitions. I 100% recommend geo and had him take us back to the airport after he initially picked us up.

Other notes: we were a group of 10, his transportation had great air conditioning, and room for more people and luggage if needed

Responsive, Reliable and Friendly

While staying at a retreat in Jaco we needed to travel to Domi and Uvita, however all the rental cars in the area were sold out. Geo provided the retreat with local and airport shuttle service so we contacted him about a the availability of a driver for the day. Geo was able to arrange for a driver and provide the extra service on very short notice. Our driver, Andres, arrived early, was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and a safe driver. I appreciated that he helped me with my Spanish pronunciations. Geo was very responsive to texts, a very friendly person and a wonderful representative of Costa Rica. His transports are very clean and appear to be well maintained. If you use GMG Transfers & Tours, Geo and his team will minimize your travel stress and help make sure you enjoy your trip.

Best choice for transport and excursion bookings!

Geo was our point of contact for not only transport but also booking various excursions in Costa Rica. He was wonderful to work with. Not only was he timely (including picking us up at the airport on time despite 4+ flight delay) but he was very good at finding solutions when items were overbooked or shuttles were full. Highly recommend. He even joined us one day for lunch and was very informative and pleasant to dine with! I did not have one issue recommending him or any of his contacts! Highly Recommend. Would not have had such a wonderful trip without him!

Recommend GMG transfers

Geo is the real deal...used him twice, once from San Jose to Jaco, and once to return. Return journey was in middle of the night (to catch early flight), and Geo was punctual as ever. Compared to other drivers, he is calm and safe, a very good driver. Always felt comfortable with him. He takes toll roads which are faster and higher quality than the free mountain roads, so the journey to /from Jaco is very quick and relaxed. Also, his minibus has WiFi! which kept my kids happy :)
I'd definitely recommend him....he's trustworthy..

We love Geo!

Geo is the best. My wife and I went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and Geo made it even better!
He communicates well and shows up early to ensure a smooth pickup and drop off process. He is conversational and goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible. He is reasonably priced too, and overall is the best experience around.
For someone who had never even been out of the country before, Geo made the process feel much more safe and comfortable. We will be using Geo for any and all of our transport needs!

A friend recommended that we use Geo from GMG tours for all our long distance travel needs in Costa Rica. Geo was a true gentleman who was willing to help at all times. He was very punctual, always available via email and was extremely prompt in responses. He gave us wonderful recommendations and always had a smile on his face. , he didn’t mind that we were a very noisy bunch of 12! Geo and the GMG team deserve a 5-⭐️ rating! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Geo and his company for all your transportation needs

Geo was amazing to work with. He was responsive to all requests before we arrived giving us peace of mind that all would go according to plan.

We also used Geo to facilitate excursions which were amazing.

We started as a group of 2 and ended with a group of 12 and Geo was able to accommodate transportation options for all sizes.

When only the best will do.

My wife and I have a second home in Jaco. We have traveled to Costa Rica many times and have tried a few different transportation companies over the last couple of years.

Once we found Geo and his team at GMG Transfers and Tours, we were hooked and new our search was over.

Geo is always prompt to respond and consistently has delivered.

They are always on time, proffesionable, reliable, and flexible if things change.

For example, my wife and I had a flight cancelation on our second leg of our trip.

This made us two and a half hours late in getting into the San Jose Airport .

With all of that hassel and stress, it was such a nice relief to see Geo there waiting for us.

His vans are top knotch, and everyone on his team is friendly and professional.

So, if only the best will do, be comfortable booking GMG Transfers for your next Costa Rican trip.

Geo is an excellent and comfortable driver. He was prompt, professional, helped with our bags, provided great insight and information to help us with our daily planning, etc. Couldn't ask for more. The vehicle was clean, safe and comfortable. Everything met our expectations.

Amazing, reliable and comfortable service

Not only was the transfers reliable and comfortable, I unfortunately left my cell phone in the van after being dropped off 3 hours away. I contacted Geo and within one day he had managed to get my phone back to me at no cost. A clean comfortable and dependable ride is expected and they certainly delivered. Getting my phone back that quickly at no cost can only be described as exceptional service. Thanks Geo!
