It's at the skate park on Calle Ancha (I believe that's the name of the street). It's on the same street as Maxi Pali Store (Maxi Pali is like a Walmart store). The library has plenty of books in many languages. I volunteered to teach English. I enjoyed it. I used their books to learn Spanish. Lots of books in... More

Jaco is only about 2 hours by bus and I love the place to get some Sun. It's rain and cold in Cartago. I was so happy that I found a place I can return my English pocket book and get some new ones to read. The gentleman that owns the place was nice and friendly

Parents and adults need to make use of this library stocked with books of several languages. Air-conditioned comfort. Learning stations for the children. I could not believe how many great American authors they carried. Thank you to the city of Jaco and people of vision for making this possible.

The library struggles to remain open because they are minimally supported by the municipality, but they do the best that they can. There is a good selection of books in English and Spanish, and even some in German, French... The library has a lot of activities for kids, and they often help with community events. It's a great thing to... More

locally sponsored and run, it is nice to see publicly accessible establishments that cater to locals and learning at the same time. The library is conducive to reading, learning, exploring.

We live in Quepos but stop by a every couple weeks to change books. Liana is so accommodating and will come over even after hours because she knows we aren't from the area. it was something I loved to do as a child and now I can share that experience with my own kids. A good selection of both English... More

It is a great opportunity for children and adults to be in a library atmosphere. Very active with children's learning. Special tutoring, story reading, science projects and nature of Costa Rica in general. Completely done by a wonderful lady named Liana and a handful of devoted volunteers. A must see for anyone that comes and wants to help the community!
