A friend recommended that we visit while in Jaco. So, we went after the beach one hot day and it was perfect. There were only a handful of regulars there at the time. the bartender was very friendly. We had a nice Casado for lunch. From another review, I see that there was a problem getting a pina colada. But,... More

With all the other choices pass on this place the drinks aren't made correctly and they couldn't make a Pina colada cause they didn't have the mix? In the land of coconut! The place is out dated old and dingy looking it's days have past.

This place has a lot of history in Jaco and a reputation to go along with it. The drinks are reasonable, the food is just ok. not a place I would take a date to. The place reminded me of an 80s bar that never moved on...you'll find the same group of old gringo men hanging out there along with... More

I traveled solos to Costa Rica. It was a little sketchy at the Beatle Bar but the local group of older gringo men took care of me and made sure I was safe. They are a little aggressive which worried me but I was safe each time I went. I went three times and never saw a any other females... More

This is not the old Beatle Bar but actually better in many ways. Reasonable drinks, great rock & roll music, beautiful bartenders, separate air conditioned disco, etc. A very comfortable place to hang - day or night.

We are happy to know that the old Beatle Bar is back with our man Jack and his lovely daughter Bridgette back at the helm. They tore down all of that hideous night club stuff that the Boys from Chicago put in and even I felt comfortable there. They still have working girls that frequent there but they don´t bother... It's been around for a while and although well used and a little dowdy is still a favourite spot for many North American visitors. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is surprisingly good. Chicken salad ended up as a whole meal, very fresh and quite tasty. Also enjoyed some decent chicken wings while watching the SuperBowl. Lots of... More

I was in Jaco Feruary 2016 and stopped by the Beatle Bar for a cold beer. The guy a couple of seats down was eating some chicken wings and they smelled great so I had some. While they are no traditional Buffalo wings they are really good. Since then I have had their burritos and a couple other things on... More

Gave this places many chances, but it got worse every time. There's nothing special about beatle bar, it's old, not very clean, and not much fun. The drinks are surprisingly overpriced, and I was not impressed with the service.

Great bar because always a friendly mixture of expats, sport fishermen, local women, couples & turistas. All the sport events on satellite TV hookup. Bartenders friendly & attentive service. Owners are there everyday so if any question or concern they glad to make it right. Separate entrance & a rear bar section has evening music late into night. Good bar... More
