Since 1998 Kayak Jaco has been introducing travelers to the joy of getting out on the water of the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The coastline is spectacular and the beaches are pristine. Our sea kayaks, outrigger canoes, stand up paddle boards and sailboat are the best way to enjoy these coastal waters. We don't pollute or disrupt the balance of nature; we just paddle through our small slice of it, not leaving a trace. If you seek "Fun on the Water" Kayak Jaco has the tour for you:• Independent folks love our kayaks• Groups and clubs are fascinated by our unique outrigger canoes• Those who are serious about kicking back adore our sailboat• People looking for exercise can try SUP. Snorkeling is included on these tours (when conditions permit) and it enables you to get even closer to the best that Costa Rica has to offer - it's nature. Since 1998, Kayak Jaco has been running safe, sustainable, enjoyable tours and we strive everyday to ensure that your trip will be a wonderful Costa Rica memory for years to come.

We were a group of 8. There were three guides and a nine seater canoe. Everyone but myself, and one of the guides, Stefano got on the canoe, equipped with outriggers to make it sturdy. We took a kayak. Often, we stopped to admire the nesting frigate birds and pelocans. I am 14 and Soccer/football mad. Stefano was very talkstive... More

Neal and Wilbert took my three friends and myself out for a five hour sail on July 4th. We were in Jaco for seven days on vacation. The day we spent sailing was one of our most memorable days. We had a great time. Neal provided us a very relaxed, safe, and fun experience. He provided food, drinks, and alcohol.... More

Did the snorkeling and kayaking trip. Had a great time. Excellent guides. Enjoyed the kayak out, the time in the water, and the time to rest and eat fruit on the beach. One of the highlights of our time near Jaco.

This was a wonderful tour!!! I booked this tour for my husband thinking it would be his favorite thing. Its a more economical pick to an offshore fishing. William was tandem with me in a kayak. My husband choose to go solo and the other guide kayaked close by, but gave him his distance to fish and explore. The beach... More

We kayaked to a beautiful white beach called Playa Blanca and then walked along the shore until we found nice spot to swim, snorkel or just relax. The water is clear and blue/green just like paradise should be! Then after enjoying some nice fruit and water, we kayaked back. You can kayak alone or with a friend. And, you do... More

We were booked for kayak fishing in the afternoon. Upon arrival our guide seemed surprised that we would book this trip in the pm since fishing is best in the am. I agreed but we had booked through a tour company before we got there. Our guide was great and too make the best out of the situation we attempted... More

Lots of fun and very well ran. A solid establishment and worth the price (and not very pricey at all). But seriously, bring aqua socks. My cut up feet are not happy.

Glad you had fun and we are happy to hear that things are "well run." We work hard at it. Shoes you can keep on your feet and get wet is in all our tour descriptions and great advice in general. Neil Kahn More

We had 2 amazing experiences with Jaco Kayak. First was outrigger canoe trip with a group of 14. We had such a great time that 3 of us went out sailing and snorkeling several days later. Owner Neil Kahn is engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgable and a wonderful host. Clearly his decades of experience in the business assured us we would be... More

We (four women) booked a 4- hour afternoon sail with Captain Neil. The weather was perfect, the boat was a great size. You could sit in the shade or lay out on the nets with your feet in the water. Neil took us to a spot so we could snorkel, he pointed out the different types of fish. He made... More
