Thanks for the wonderful review. It is true that getting to that cabin in the rain may not be the most fun. But it is a rainforest and the rainy season! We are glad that the experience was worth getting wet for. It is a...More

We stayed in the most remote cabin deep in the cloud forest. We had monkey swinging past, hummingbirds flying around as I sat in the hammock watching the clouds roll in and out. There is some great hiking, and waterfall pools to swim in to...More

We managed to walk nearly all the trails in one morning (one we think was closed). The don victor trail was tough, lots of steep climbs, river crossings and climbing over rocks but definitely still fun and you really do feel like you deserve a...More

Hi Abi, we are about 2 km further once you leave the paved road. The road is quite steep and rocky in places, so we recommend that you have 4 wheel drive on your vehicle.
