We specialize in bikinis, cover-ups, fashion dresses, weddings at the beach. men 's fashion and a great and affordable KIDS collection. 20 years working to provide the beast products for Costa Rica special climate.

This boutique is FABULOUS!! A MUST stop for beautiful clothing for men and women. Prices are good and the quality of clothing is good as well. The Owner and her staff are wonderful and very helpful. I will definitely be going back again.

If you are in Tamarindo and need summer clothes, this is the place to go. They have all kinds of super good quality light cotton clothing. Excelent for this hot weather. And the things they have, you dont find them in any other store.

My friend and I had purchased some items at "Azul Profundo" the last two years we'd visited Tamarindo, so we decided to drop in again this year. (My husband really appreciates not having to come shopping with me!)
Upon entering the store, we received a welcoming "Hola!" and smiles from the salespersons. We were then reminded that if we needed anything, to just ask - again with huge, sincere smiles! While we were browsing, Nellie told us that if we didn't see our size in something we wanted to try on, she'd be happy to check in the back for us.
She was great at finding and showing us a variety of dresses. We also appreciated that we felt no pressure to buy anything we weren't totally sure about. I don't know how she kept track of all of us in the store, but she did. And very successfully, I might add!
One of us would come out of the dressing room for a peek in the mirror, and before you knew it, she'd pulled out something else she thought we might like. Nellie was the perfect salesperson! She really worked hard for us making sure that what we chose to buy were items we were truly excited about and felt good in!
Muchas gracias, Nellie! My friend and I will look for you again when we visit Tamarindo next year. Thanks to you, we love the dresses we bought!

Ridiculous prices for clothes you could bring back from Walmart. Can you say tourist trap? I saw shirts that were unraveling and obviously looked like they had seen better days and they were $40 or more. Are they joking? I'll wait and shop at Walmart myself, thanks.

So sorry we disappoint you, Please keep doing your Shopping in Walmart and try not to enter a fashion boutique never more.
It's obviously not your place to be. I am very proud of my shirt collection and trying to get them all the way to Guanacaste Beach (the jungle) has a price.
I can't believe you have time during your vacations to make this awful review, It seems to me you are not enjoying your stay in Costa Rica.
Try to breath in and enjoy our beautiful country, just don't go shopping!

Two months ago I bought a bag at this store and the first time I used it, all the stitching quickly came apart. It was clearly poorly made but looked nice to fool a passing tourist. I live in Costa Rica though, so today I was back in Tamarindo and tried to return it but without a receipt, they refused to do anything even though they said they knew it came from their store. I left the bag there since there was no way to repair it. Terrible customer service. Beware passing tourists- you may not realize the poor quality of what you're buying at this store before you're home and can't do anything about it. Terrible experience.

We are so sorry that you had this experience.
If you had come to us two months prior or just call us since you are CR resident when you bought the bag, we would have send you a new one no problem, but your $15.00 product , two months latter, dirty with no receipt is no way returnable! your newly made trip advisor account is a showing of your absolute bad intentions. . In fact, if you had the opportunity to talk to some of or clients from the previous 14 years you will hear nothing but praises. You see, when you buy something in any store around the world, use the item (in this case in a place with two seasons, dust and mud) it isn't likely that you would be able to have the opportunity to return the item without receipt. We checked the politic from many first world retail stores, and many others previous to this response and your two month waiting period would not jive with them or any other company, especially with a dirty and used item.
You live in Costa Rica and treated our employees with COMPLETE disrespect.
It is a total shame that you had this unfortunate experience. However, the reality of the situation is that you have completely disregarded the normal rules of retail and have tried to buy, use, and return.
Sorry you have come to this conclusion.

I love This shop! You can find a big selections of items: dresses, bikinis, shirts, belts, sandals, hats, bags, nice cool souvenirs and wonderful ethnic and silver jewels. In Tamarindo is full of shops selling the same stuff only for tourist with no quality at all and pretty expensive. At Azul Profond dresses are really well done and you can find also elegant clothes. The service is fantastic and they help you find what do you like and fit better. . I'll go there every time I need something for me or my kids.

They had a great selection of t-shirts. But at 27$ a pop, i don't think they'll sell very many! Too bad, great shop!

Hello Calisurfer97, I am sorry you feel that way, we are very proud of our special t-shirts, they are high quality fabrics with exclusive designs which made our products cost as much as $27.
It's fair to say, that we also have a special sale on t-shirts at $9 and also, SalveMonos t-shirts and that we donate all its profits to the NGO.
I am happy you believe Azul Profundo is a great shop, so sorry that the price of our t-shirts made your review negative.

Love this store!!
Whenever we're in town on vacation I have to stop by to get my summer outfits.
Their bikinis have the best fit, they have the coolest sundresses and the best one of a kind jewelry.
Also, I'm always able to find great gifts to bring back home for all my family, from cute t-shirts for my kids, to accesories for everyone.
Pato always has a great selection and prices are very reasonable.
If you happen to be in town, just stop by and enjoy, if you are lucky you might also find some of Pato's own art work for sale!
