We offer scenic flights in an open gyrocopter of 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 60 minutes departing from Sámara, Tamarindo, Nosara and Punta Islitas. Contact us for details. Description Tour Sámara: Taking off from our runway "Airpark Costa Rica" locally known as "La Pista" only 10 minutes outside of the beautiful little beach town Sámara in Guanacaste. Our shortest tour of 20 minutes will lead you first to one of the most beautiful white beaches in Guanacaste called Playa Barrigona where famous actor Mel Gibson owns a beach property. Next, you will head inland to the River Buena Vista on the lookout for sunbathing crocodiles along the river. The next part of your flight takes you to the beaches of Sámara and Carillo where you might get a soaring eagles' perspective of manta rays, dolphins, big schools of fish and sea turtles. From Carillo you'll overfly the Isla Chora on the way to Playa Buena Vista were you'll experience the sensation of flying just over breaking waves and feel you're surfing in mid-air! Return to the runway while enjoying a beautiful view of the rain forests and mangroves. In the time from December to March and August to Oktober you can often see whales playing near the shore. What to bring? You'll need a video or photo camera that can be secured at your wrist, also good idea to bring sunglasses.

Father Daughter tag team pilots expertly flew around Samara beaches inlets and coastal lines, providing unbelievable views from above!
Both well seasoned pilots determined to provide as many views of their chosen residence , with as many attempts as possible to view marine wildlife, flora and fauna in this beautiful side of Costa Rica!
My husband and I appreciated every effort made , safely and securely nestled in their beautifully well serviced machines to see as much as we could in our hour time frame!
Highly recommend this experience to see what is unseen from land , an experience worth the money and time ! Bravo!!!!

Many thanks to Saray for this incredibly beautiful experience!!! She showed me so many highlights from the air (crocodiles, sea turtles, sharks, large schools of fish, Mel Gibson's beach...) and I felt super safe and well looked after the whole time! From up there you have a whole new perspective!

If you only do one thing in Samara make sure it’s this!!!! An amazing experience from start to finish with stunning views. Hubby booked me an hours flight for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for more. Saray gave a safety talk and explained everything I needed to know before take off. Every minute of the flight was unbelievable with stunning views over the land, rivers, mangrove swamps, coast and Pacific Ocean. Her knowledge of the local area is second to none and she pointed out every beach, landmark and animal along the way. I was lucky enough to see crocodiles, dolphins, turtles, schools of fish, rays and many many birds. It was a genuinely amazing experience and I will definitely ‘fly with us’ again when we come back to Costa Rica ❤️

I cannot rate this experience highly enough. My wife and I both had a 20 minute trip and absolutely loved it. We were greeted by the pilot and her partner and were made immediately welcome. The whole business is highly professional with immaculate amazing flying machines. We were taken up to follow a river out to the coast and looked down on stunning beaches. We spotted turtles, fish and a ray. It was like being in a film. We can't stop thinking about it. The perfect way to see a truly beautiful country. We cannot recommend this enough and thank our fantastic pilot for being so kind. One day we will be back...and we are sending friends. Kerry and Natalie.

Incredible experience for my birthday! I booked the 30 min trip, but wish I had booked an hour! Already planning another visit to CR and plan to book another trip with Fly With Us! The crew are friendly and fun! I felt very safe and so excited the entire time! :):)

A most beautiful aerial tour of a beautiful place. The open cockpit permitted an amazing flight experience, it felt like a flying lawn chair. My wife and l flew side by side in separate aircraft. Surreal!
Sights included crocodiles, eagle rays, a heron rookery, turtles, large schools of fish, coastal beaches and mountains
As a pilot myself l was impressed with the professionalism of the pilots their operation so l had no reservations about the safety.

Yesterday we did a GyroCopter tandem flight - after booking in advance with two gyrocopters at the same time - with Jorge and Saray.
It was simply fantastic to see this beautiful country from above.
The flight was great fun and we felt completely safe.
Jorge and Saray told us a lot about the landscape and the animals.
We saw crocodiles and turtles.
This tour is really highly recommended, absolutely top and actually a "must do" if you are in the area.

We had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Saray and her team on our Costa Rica trip. The flight with her was simply an unforgettable experience (which we would gladly repeat at any time). We can highly recommend a stopover to anyone traveling in Costa Rica. The experience was worth every penny. We wish her and her team all the best and hope to come back soon. An absolutely incredible experience and a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday! As soon as we finished our 30 minute tour I immediately wanted to go back up. (We will be booking another tour soon and have told all our friends and family to do it)
Saray and Jorge are professional, knowledgeable and excellent pilots. They were both extremely friendly and made sure we felt comfortable and safe.
I highly recommend this tour as it gives a great perspective of Samara and the nearby beaches - so incredibly beautiful.

This was an amazing experience. Like a motorcycle in the sky. Great views of the countryside and seashore. There were lots of sea turtles along the shore north of Samara. Saray my pilot was very informative and her landing was feather light. I would very highly recommend this tour.

We booked thru our lodging, Samara Palms, which we also recommend. They handled the details. But you could also use the Samara-Carillo Info Center who are also very helpful. They are listed as #1 under Samara "things to do" tab.
