The first thing you notice about this place is the giant, long, wide beach stretching between two headlands, a small island to the south end. The actual town is tucked in behind the palms approximately in the middle of the bay. The second thing is...More

The beach is beautiful, and the water is warm and usually very gentle. It is a little rocky getting into the water, but just briefly. Stay long enough and you can see horses (without humans) roaming along the water's edge. Sunsets here are gorgeous, and...More

This is a bit more protected than some of the other beaches in the region, with perfect waves for learning to surf or for swimming. Nice beach bars, but not too much of a scene.

You will see kids under 5 playing in the surf. This is a gentle beach and very beautiful. The town is very walkable from the beach and has fantastic restaurants and bars.

Samara beach is amazing! The water is warm, the sand is white, there is shade underneath the palm trees, great waves for surfing and boogie boarding, a good mix of locals and tourist and good cafes/restaurants along the beach. It's incredible that there aren't more...More

For chillaxing and taking in the sun. There is a really friendly atmosphere and some great bars and restaurants to grab a drink or something to eat.

Peaceful, clean with one of the best beaches around. All activities are easy to find from snorkelling to surfing kayaking horseback riding atvs. Sunsets are breath taking.

We rented a quad & drove down the coast for the day & ended up spending our afternoon on this beach. It was so nice! The water was perfect, lots of people but not over crowded. Plenty of things to do around the beach too!...More

It isn't really a party town. More family oriented with primarily restaurants, not pubs so much.

We used Samara Adventure Co for a dolphin/snorkelling tour. It was excellent. The Samara Info Center has many more activities to do in and around Samara. Enjoy!

We just got back 2 weeks ago. Didn't see any dog poop. The beach is amazingly clean.
