We experienced the Palo Verde Boat Tour when staying in Guanacaste. Everything was professional and friendly, from booking through pick up to drop off back at our hotel. Anthony our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna we experienced and both on the boat and in the van was able to locate and identify for us many wonderful birds, reptiles and mammals. The included lunch was also delicious. We were particularly taken by the commitment to sustainability shown.

Wow! My wife and I had an absolutely AMAZING deep sea fishing experience with the Costa Rica In tour company!!! Wow, WoW, WOW!!!! The owner (Alan Vega) of the tour company treated us like life-long best friends from the moment we met him. Alan had EVERYTHING planned for us down to the finest of details!!! I know we will definitely return for another fishing adventure with this company because the customer service, size and amount of fish were EXTRAORDINARY!!! We will highly recommend the Costa Rica In tour company to ALL our family and friends!!!!

This is a great day trip to see some wonderful nature sites all while getting a healthy work out. Make sure to dress for the day. Good shoes are a must for hiking the rocky trails and taking on all the steps up and down to the gem of a waterfall. All the steps are worth the powerful beauty of the magnificent waterfall. Pictures just do not do it justice. Your reward is a beautiful aqua blue pool and stream to cool you down before tackling the steps back up to the top.

We had a really nice time in Costa Rica last Feb. we went through few tours with the guys of Costa Rica In. Alan and Makensi our guide and driver make us the trip really enjoyable and they show us many things on the Pura Vida living. We visit the Arenal Volcano and the hot springs, we went into a park near the volcano de la Vieja where we did zip lines, tubing and horseback, this is nice you finish in a thermal spa or some. Also we did the snorkeling trip and it was great this guys bring a wake board and we really had fun, the places for snorkeling and the beach are very nice. they are open to stop in the way for anything you want and they was taking care of us in all the trip, we went in a private van, very relaxing, not big crowds and reasonable pricing for the service. Thanks guys…Pura Vida!

We've used Costa Rica In for many different things, on many different trips to Costa Rica, and have always been completely satisfied! We've been there just as a couple, been there with friends, been there with our kids, and with a group of 5 families total.
They've lined up tours for us--small groups up to a group of close to 20. The guides and/or drivers have always been bilingual and very knowledgeable, sharing history, names of plants, pointing out animals, etc, etc. We’ve done lots of different tours through them--everything from fishing, 4-wheeling, volcano tours, boat ride & bbq on the beach, Nicaragua, etc. Every tour has been amazing!
If you have a tour idea in mind, let them know what you’re looking for & they work with you. They know what will fit best with your schedule, your group of people, etc.
Every rental vehicle experience we’ve ever lined up through Costa Rica In, has gone smoothly. That’s not always the case in a foreign country. Alan & Angie take all the hassle & confusion out of the process.
They've also lined up a private chef to cook dinner for us. The chef was great! He let us hang out in the kitchen with him and made amazing food! A few of our group even went shopping with him before the dinner and got to see how the locals shop—local fisherman’s shop & all!
We even ran into a bind once & needed tables & chairs. Who did we call? Costa Rica In! They get the job done!
Alan & Angie are some of the most accommodating, friendly, & knowledgeable tour owners we’ve ever dealt with. I highly recommend Costa Rica In! Pura Vida!

I booked a number of tours with Costaricain.com. It took a number of days to complete the scheduling process and I was kept informed every step of the way. I provided Alan with a list of things we wanted to do, listing our priority items. Before we left home, we had a schedule with a list of items we should bring for each excursion.
I was a little concerned about a language barrier but Alan’s English was fabulous.
He was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and his love for his country was apparent. He was open, friendly and personable. He was concerned for our health and safety. I am rather introverted so he sometimes had a hard time knowing whether I was enjoying myself. He would check with me to make sure that the excursions were what I anticipated. They always were.
With Alan’s guidance and help we went to Monteverde Cloud Forest and Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. We went on a Guanacaste Safari tour and a Palo Verde River tour. In the wild we saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, parrots, crocodiles, iguanas and many different species of birds . At an animal reserve we saw puma, more monkeys, ocelots and many other animals that had been rescued from various different situations. We saw waterfalls, boiling mud, steaming earth and more. We went to some beaches that were not reachable by road. We snorkeled and went tubing on white water. Tubing was a blast and I highly recommend it. While on our way to one of our excursions, Alan took us to see locals with their oxen moving carts of heavy wet sand from the river to be sold for building materials.
Throughout our week, Alan was always available to answer questions and provide details about life in Costa Rica. I can’t stress enough that that Alan was a great guide and I look forward to our next trip

Costa Rica Fun Adventures arranged by Doubletree Cariari. Fabulous day at Irazu volcano and Sarapiqui River. Although it ended up with only two of us, this company gave us an amazing tour guide (Mauricio) and driver (Carlos). We were treated all day like VIPS. Could not have been better. What we learned was way more than most tour companies. Treatment was exceptional. Meals were terrific. We are picky and would have been quick to complain if this had not been exceptional. It isn't the average tour with lots of tourist stops. We felt we learned about the real Costa Rica and met real people. Can not praise them enough!

My friend and I used Costa Rica travel group to get from San Jose airport to Playa Hermosa, Jaco. I booked online and scheduled the wrong day. I sent a message when we landed using WhatsApp and they were able to get us a shuttle. Crisis Averted!!! Our driver was great, he stopped at Crocodile bridge for us and even took us the the grocery store! Highly recommended!

I am coming to playa del coco, I understand that this is the location for diving. I also would like to river raft can this be done on this part of Costa Rica. Thanks
Written April 24, 2017
Good afternoon
Thank you for contacting us.
You are right the Papagayo Gulf is one of the best spots for diving and many schools and dive centers are located here.
Normally a 2 tanks dive cost $110 with the equipment included. If you want something different you can take the trip to Catalinas Islands located around 45 minutes from playas del coco.
For the White Water Rafting we offer you a class III & IV located 90 minutes drive from playas del coco. Prices start at $120 per person.
The best river in the area is located 90 minutes from Playas del Coco, the journey takes you to the mountain range from where you will start riding the river its about 2 hours of excellent rapids class III & IV.
Please write us to our info email and let us know your travel needs and questions and we will back to you with all the information you need.
Have a great day!
