Diego picked us up at the airport upon our arrival in Costa Rica. I cannot imagine having a better person to greet us and start our vacation on the right foot. He was so warm and welcoming and provided lots of great information for our stay. We had the pleasure of spending days with Diego. During our day trip to Miravalles Waterfalls, he provided lots of information about the topography, animals, local culture, socio-economic commentary, and so much more. On the Palo Verde Boat Tour, he was a knowledgeable and exciting guide who explained everything from the birds to flora fauna to weather patterns. A highlight of this tour was viewing the recovery of sand from the river. It's hard to believe that sand is still recovered by hand on to a boat then to oxen carts. The river tour was great way to see all of the animals living on the river bank and we also had a great Costa Rican lunch on our way back. Diego also arranged a catamaran trip for us that turned out to be a great day on the water and completed it with a beautiful sunset. Diego was very accommodating and allowed us to stop a few times for shopping. When Diego drove us back to the airport at the end of our vacation, we felt like we made a true friend in Diego and we were sad to say goodbye to him when we left. Excellent tour company to use. Diego is very professional and knowledgeable on Costa Rica; he obviously works very hard to expand his knowledge. Our hats off to Diego for such a great private tour. Pura Vida!

We had such a great experience with Sibu Tours on our recent trip to Costa Rica. We had been 10 years earlier and used a different tour company, Sibu is by far the best! Jusy booked our tours and was so helpful and friendly, taking the time to go over all of our options. We can’t say enough great things about our tour guide Santos. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so kind and made our day trips relaxing and fun. We have 2 children, ages 5 & 7, and he was so helpful with navigating what activities to do first and allowing us to go at our own pace. Not only did he guide us through amazing adventures, but he helped us carry our things, offered to take family photos we’ll treasure forever and was smiling and enthusiastic the entire time. Thank you Santos, Jusy and Diego for your time and efforts to make our time exploring your beautiful country great. We HIGHLY recommend Santos and Sibu Tours, especially for families looking for a great experience with the kindest/best staff around!

We were in the Arenal area for 3 days and Tamarindo for 4 days. All lodging, excursions, and transport were coordinated by Diego and was fantastic! Diego is a Costa Rican National Treasure! We did Rainforest Hiking, Volcano Ziplining, River Tour, Sunset Catamaran dinner ride, all very strategically timed to give us some free time to explore and relax and included any information you could ever want regarding local culture and history from Diego. This was my 3rd trip with Diego's guidance and I wouldn't change a thing!

There were 4 of us staying at an Airbnb in playas del coco, from the moment we arrived at Liberia airport we knew our trip was going to be amazing based on the warm and welcoming greeting we got from Diego at Sibu Tours!! He had cold bottled water waiting for us and explained many different things in our short ride to our condo. He was also our guide at Rincon de la Vieja National Park, we had SUCH a good time, you could see the other tourists walking around so bleakly and we were just laughing and smiling and really soaking up all of the beautiful nature and scenery around us. He told us about the trees, the volcanos, the wildlife and answered all of our many questions, we even got to see a snake (did you ever figure out if it was the fake version of the most dangerous snake in Costa Rica, Diego?😉). Overall, I would highly recommend using Sibu Tours, if the other guides are HALF as good as Diego, you’ll have an amazing time!! Sad to say the next time we’ll be seeing Diego is on our way back to the airport, but when (not if, but when) we come back to Costa Rica, we’ll definitely be seeing you again, my friend!! COSTA RICA ANYONE?!?
If you are planning a trip to Guanacaste, Costa Rica...and if you aren't you should start planning one, you need to reach out to Diego at Sibu Tours. Diego not only kept us safe from place to place but also offered up some amazing adventures. His connections around the towns in unmatched, he got us the red carpet everywhere we went. He took us to see the culture, eat the best home-cooked meals, and guided us on a river tour to see crocodiles, white-faced monkeys, bats, and lots of bird species. He knows so much about Costa Rica and does an excellent job of story-telling, even while driving through the jungle. Our trip would not have been what it was without Diego, thank you Sibu Tours for sharing him with us!

We had a destination wedding in Playa Hermosa. He was always responsive, kind, reliable, informative and helpful! He helped our large group of 85 coordinate all kinds of rides to the airport, and excursions. My friends even forgot their luggage at the hotel and Diego raced back to get their things and delivered everything in time for their flight!!
He was also especially great about all my last minute changes and always had the right sized vehicle to accommodate us. The rides were always perfectly air conditioned, comfortable and nice!
I can’t wait to come back to Costa Rica and Diego is part of the family now!

This is our second trip to Costa Rica. We used Sibu Tours on our first trip and Diego and his staff made our trip amazing. As soon as we booked our second trip to CR I contacted Diego immediately and booked 3 excursions plus airport transport. Diego is THE BEST tour guide around. Very knowledgeable, personable and reliable. His staff that we used for driving from and to the airport plus taking us to our rafting trip were also great! If you're looking for a fabulous trip and have the best experience then use Sibu Tours. Excellent experience both times!!!!!

All of our tours were booked through Jusy (Sibu Tours Agent) at the Occidental Tamarindo Hotel. This was our second trip, last one was in 2024. Every tour we booked with Jusy went as perfectly as it could. They must be very selective of whom they decide to operate with because all tour guides were professional. Some examples of the tours we took were the estuary tour, Rio-Celeste tour, catamaran sunset tour etc. We also did a day trip to Nicaragua which packed a lot into a long day that we really liked. Just beware it's a 16.5 hour day with a lot of driving so may not be for everyone but we loved it and the tour guide Gustova was excellent. You can pretty much guarantee that whatever Jusy books you will have a great time.

We booked a tour to see the animals of the rainforest and waterfalls. We got so much more. Our guide Diego was so informative about Costa Rican culture, history, and wildlife. He pointed out locations, structures, and went out of his way to make sure we saw toucans. Anyone interested in truly experiencing Costa Rica and laughing while you do it needs to book through this company.

We had a great experience with Diego! We booked him to transfer us to and from our resort, as well as seeing the Rio Celeste waterfall. I definitely recommend booking a private excursion through him vs doing something the resort offers. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of Costa Rica.

i've been to sibu, sarawak..
there are lots of halal restaurant around the town.. one of my favorite is Popular Food Court which is open 24 hours..
it is located in the heart of sibu town.. during night area, there are night market which is full of food stalls, bbq stalls.. i've tried most of them.. n yes, u wont regret it.. the chicken wing n grill fish are really delicious.. they bbq using charcoal, not gas.. thats why its really aromatic n nyummy.. so, dont worry.. plenty of halal food n restaurant nearby Sibu.. n i really wish to return soon.. missing the seafood ried rice..
