Sean was a huge help setting up multiple tours and boat rides. He spoke great English and gave us fair pricing as well as found us great tour guides and drivers. Sean also hooked some of us up with a ride to the airport at a good price.

We had an ATV adventure in the morning and an excellent sunset sailing adventure arranged for us.
ATV trip was great with a nice trail down to a beautiful beach. No beach riding was allowed due to environmental issues.
We had 3 couple our for the trip on a 47 foot monohull and all had nothing but good things to say. There were 14 people on board and I thought it would be crowded but there was enough room to make it comfortable. We set sail about 14:00 and returned about 19:00 after a sail to a lovely beach for a little swim. On the return we got to experience gorgeous sunset. The crew was great and the drinks kept flowing. Thanks for making the last day of our holiday special.

I was walking by the salon and on a whim I went in to ask if I could schedule for a mani/pedi for the next day. They had an opening! Michelle did my manicure. She did a beautiful job! By far the best manicure I have ever had. She worked slowly and methodically and the result was ten beautiful fingers! Then Maria Fernanda took over for my pedi. I must say my footsies were in heaven! The sugar and honey scrub was amazing! I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this spa! Mera at the front desk was so nice. This is a truly inviting pleasant professional salon.

Fast talking promising a beautiful boat and amazing food! Another couple on the boat experienced the same thing. We were both looking for the 40 foot sail boat.We ended up on a 30 foot old Catamaran it was a boat. With only two crew!!But never once did we set the sails. Every catamaran that we saw on the way in was under sail. Our sun set dinner was that of chips salsa guacamole some fruit and a tomato and an onion wrapped in a tortilla. Even the crew said we will be serving a snack!!!! This was not a dinner . We were supposed to make two stops for snorkeling. Only 1. We had asked the guy if we could pay with credit card. Sure he said. We gave the guy at the store 50 cash for deposit we would pay the boat the rest. they came to be paid. Charged us18 % for using our card!!!!! The sun set was amazing. I could have done that from the beach. You ever know when your gut tells you to move on. Ours did we should have moved on. There are better and much more reputable companies to get your tours from. See my other reviews!!!We went back to see if he would make it right he just said sometimes that happens. A boat is a boat. I told him he sold us a Lexis and we got a ford pinto. He had his money he didn’t care. Had he made it right I would have been satisfied and would have left no review. He does not represent the wonderful people of Cocoa.

Omar is a huge scam is wife is as well and the nephew that works there just like them they are a disgusting people. They offered us a deal for ATVs and a catamaran with going to see the timeshare. The timeshare is disgusting. They did not give us our certificates. We weren’t going to use them anyways, but they didn’t give us our excursions. Huge waste of time. I highly recommend that you do not go here if you see them run fast away.

Jorge (Coco) was our group of ten's go to for anything we needed. Transfer from Reserva Conchal to Hermosa Beach, rides to Coco Beach from Hermosa Beach, help purchasing groceries, recommendations for restaurants, sights to see and organizing tours. Cannot say enough about how well we were treated.

We purchased the Guanacaste Nature Tour for 7 people in our group. We did not get what we paid for. We did see a small botanical garden. We did not get our 2 hour hike on the Tenorio volcano with hanging bridges, which was what we were looking forward to. Our guide just said "no volcano." We did stop at a waterfall, but it was underwhelming especially after the disappointments of the morning. Our driver did not seem to know what tour he was driving for, we spent more time in the van than at all of the 'attractions', and he ran over a dog at our lunch stop. We would not recommend this company at all.

My friend and I purchased the Guanacaste Nature tour that was to include a waterfall, botanical garden and a 2 hr hike along a volcano slope with hanging bridges. Unfortunately this tour did not deliver all it promised. We had the waterfall and a nature presentation, which we assumed was the start to the hike however it was a loop around the prepared exhibits. The one highlight was the absolute knowledge of the guide. When travel operators were notified of the discrepancy between their brochure and the tour promised, they expressed concern however provided no resolution or partial refund. It was always being "looked into" but never resolved.

We were also constantly bombarded with requests to participate in a "time share" opportunity which we finally consented to although we indicated we had no interest whatsoever and did not need or want the free meal (I am a vegetarian and they actually seemed put off by my not wanting the selections they did offer, all of which included meat). The individual who provided the presentation, which we graciously listened to, was rude and abrasive; he asked little about us and solicited free medical advice.

The staff at the tour office were friendly and easily drew you in. We made the mistake of taking this for honesty.

As first-timers to Costa Rica, we were very confused about all the tours and tour companies, the different prices, what's good and what's not, etc. On our second day in Playas Del Coco, we ran into Diego, and he was full of good information about the tours and the area in general. Although we had already booked a couple of tours before we arrived, we also booked the Catamaran Vision and a fishing trip, and we had a great experience at a great price! And we rented a golf cart to explore on our own. Diego was like our own personal concierge for the week, but never pressured us to do anything we didn't want to. He was full of good local information, helping us to be very comfortable in our first-timer Costa Rica experience, and a big reason why we'd vacation in Costa Rica again. And the other guys at Coco Beach Adventures Travel were also very helpful too!

I went on two tours through Costa Rica Adventure Tours. Both were great!!! The first was to the Miravalles Volcano. Our guide was friendly and a great tour guide. We rode horses to the waterfall then hiked the rest of the way. Henry was informative the whole time. We had a great time in the mudbaths and hotsprings then enjoyed a delicious lunch on the way home. The other tour was a sailboat sunset tour. Only 7 people so felt like a private tour. Great time snorkeling and dinner was freshly prepared by the crew. Sunset was beautiful as well as dolphin viewing. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Playa Del Coco.
