We did 2 amazing tours with Andy! The first tour we went to Tenario Volcano and hiked to the striking beautiful, blue waterfalls. Along the way Andy explained about the different plants. You would want to go before it rains since he explained the waterfalls are not a beautiful blue color but more muddied waters. To get the waterfalls you have climb some 240 steps down and up so keep that in mind. The best shoes to wear are the water shoes and bring a raincoat and bug spray and sunblock. From there he took us to a healthy and delicious traditional lunch of rice and beans, salad and a choice of protein. We had a rice pudding for dessert. Then we went to two rainforests where the tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We saw many sloths, red eyed frog, tiny poisonous frogs, toucans, monkeys, vultures, orchids, and different herbs. Every location took COVID preventative measures and it was impressive. We wanted to eat Costa Rican cuisine for dinner so Andy found a wonderful local place for us. The second tour we went on with Andy was a boat tour down (Palo Verdes) Refugio Nacional deVida Silvestre Cipanci. The tour guide made sure he pointed out and stopped so we saw alligators, several different types of monkeys, cranes, lizards. After that tour we had an amazing, wholesome, traditional lunch with freshly made corn tortilla, rice and beans, fajita chicken and salad. For dessert it was a delicious dragon fruit sorbet. Andy was very friendly and explained alot about the Costa Rican culture and we felt safe and well taken care of.

We recently went on an extended family vacation to Costa Rica for Thanksgiving. We had 13 people ranging in ages from 13 to 75 years. We were met at the airport (twice since we were coming from different locations) by Andy. From the moment he picked us up till a week later when he dropped us off to go home, we were treated to the most amazing trip ever. Andy became part of our family as we toured volcanos in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua, were covered in medicinal mud, learned how authenic Costa Rican pottery was made, went on a horse carriage tour of Grenada, hiked through the rain forest to a waterfall and trod over hanging bridges, ate sour guava, petted a baby sloth, had a colorful frog hop on our hat for a ride and all the while ate the freshest, yummiest authentic food in CR. The van was always clean and stocked with water and beer enery morning. Andy was a wonderful tour guide who customized our vacation for all of our family members while taking us to the places only someone from CR would know. It was one of the BEST VACATIONS EVER!! Make sure you ask for Andy!!

My wife and I were staying for the week in the resort area on the Pacific Coast. We wanted to make a day trip into the mountains to see Monteverde. The driving distance is a bit more than three hours each way, and the mountain roads looked tough to navigate. We hired Andy to be our driver for the day. He was great -- prompt, friendly, quite knowledgable about the area. He handled the bumpy and windy roads in the mountains easily. We enjoyed the day and the time we spent with him. Highly recommended.

My son and I booked a trip to Costa Ruca as we wanted to catch a big Roosterfish. After finding out accommodations, we met Andy through the Internet. He helped us book 2 fishing charters as well as Ziplining near the Arenal Volcano(AWESOME), and a day trip to the Hot Springs. We had also hired Andy to transport us to and from the airport, as I was concerned about driving and getting lost, as it was a 2.5 hr drive. Andy delivered Big Time! Everyday was awesome. We caught that big Rooster 73lbs. Ziplining is something my son will never forget and the hot springs were a perfect day of relaxation. Andy took time to stop along the way as we traveled for us to take pictures and show us sloths up in the trees and so much more. We are already planning a return trip and guess who we will be contacting....Yep, you guessed it Andy!

We arrived in Costa Rica only to find that our ride from the airport to the hotel was not waiting for us. Andy contacted the company and arranged to take us to the hotel without charge. We then used him for a day trip to Rincon Del Viejo and the Borinquen Mountain Resort, which included horse back riding, zip lining, mud baths and hot springs. It was our favorite day in Costa Rica. Andy lived in Pennsylvania for a period of time and went to Penn State so his English is quite good. He's honest and entertaining. We felt very comfortable with him and would definitely use him again.
