We wanted a full day with zip line, tubing/rafting, horseback and thermal springs. I had chosen Guachapelin, but we were steered away and sent here by the concierge service at the home we rented. All good excursions...a horse back ride to river tubing for start. I hate horses, but it was still cool. The river tubing was awesome and our guides (two Sergios) made it comfortable as far as any safety concerns, and worked hard to make it a great experience. All of the guides were professional, friendly and ensured everyone was safe and comfortable. All of the staff we encountered spoke english-communication was not an issue. The whole family enjoyed the zip lining, and lunch was very good. Did not try the spa & other activities. About 20 min drive from Liberia and all paved roads. The scenery is beautiful. Other similar excursions we have gone on were much further from our area with the typical Costa Rican "off road" experience. Highly recommend it for the family, a half day will take you to the activities listed with a lunch for a reasonable cost.…
