Our group (ages from 10-75, with three teen boys) had an amazing time at Vandara, the guides were friendly and professional. We did the adventure pass and felt safe the whole time. I was nervous about the water slide before we went but my 75yr old parents did it and loved it. The views while ziplining were amazing. The lunch was delicious with many choices, I am am gluten sensitive and had no problems. The mud pools were closed because they had, had a large tree come down but they were busy cleaning it up and they brought bowls of the mud up to the hot springs pool for us to use. I felt the experience we had was of great value and I would recommend it to families looking for a fun filled day.

This was by far our absolute favorite adventure park that we visited. We went at the beginning of the rainy season so there were not that many people and we also went as soon as the park opened so we basically had the whole place to ourselves for the first 2 hours. highly recommend going as soon as it opens because we did the ziplines, horseback riding, water slide, cultural center, and the hot springs by ourselves. We have unintentional private tours for each station. The hot springs were so lovely and peaceful with an awesome swim-up bar! We did the mud bath and washed off right in the river and warmed up in the hot springs. The cultural center was great and I actually learned a lot. We did Buena vista adventure park just 30 mins away and this was by far so much better. (nothing against Buena vista, we just had more privacy and one on one time with the guides so we learned a lot) We really really enjoyed it! The views from the zip lines were so epic!

The entire experience at this adventure park was delightful. Starting with the horseback trail, we got to appreciate the flora before taking off on 8 ziplines with breaktaking views of rushing rivers, powerful waterfalls, and lush mountains. We had a chance to learn about the processing of sugarcane & sampled some tasty local snacks & coffee in addition to the sugarcane. The waterslide was also a favorite once we made it out on the other side. lol. Afterwards, we prepared to dip in the hot springs by applying volcanic clay & showering off. The hot springs did not disappoint. Nothing like decompressing in paradise... Lunch was delicious & provided enough variety for everyone. Unfortunately, it did start to storm towards the end of our visit & we were unable to visit the waterfall. And we truly did not want to leave. Lucia, Cesar, Diego, Roy, and the bartender at the hot spring, went above & beyond to get us ready, keep us safe, & crack a few jokes to keep things light hearted (most of us had varying degrees of fearing heights).

If I ever get the chance to experience visiting Costa Rica again, theres no doubt I'm returning to Vandara.

Thanks for the memories

Beware of this place, I paid $103 for full day tour and only got an hour to sit in the hot springs. I went with a large group of 18, 14 people went to do horseback riding and zip-line, the other 4 people just wanted to do the mud bath and hot springs but the receptionist at the front desk told us we couldn’t go until the rest of the group gets back. Well it took them about 3 hours to get back, by this time it was lunch, after lunch it was about 3pm one hour to closing, so I only had to get a quick dip in the hot springs that’s all I got for my $103. It’s like they put this woman at the front desk to miss lead you, the mud bath is horrible it smells like paint and not mud.do not go here, find somewhere else or you will be devastated like I was, plus you will loose your money and they don’t care.😡😡😡😢😢😢😢

We enjoyed the hot springs the most while visiting Vandara this week.

The pool was exceptional and an easy walk, however you need to be able to walk otherwise you would need assistance to get down to the pool. There was a path that was concrete and would accommodate a wheelchair or golf cart.

The Zip Line was not operating because of upgrades so we did not purchase the Explorer pass.

Lunch was exceptional!

We were a little disappointed with the mud bath. You had to apply with brushes as apposed to adding it with hands and enjoying the mess. Not sure the reason however it was kept very clean and neat.

We rinsed off in the shallow rapids in the stream which was an absolute blast and highly recommend. You also had a shower option.

The Cultural Tour Portion and the staff were highly trained, extremely friendly and thoroughly enjoyed their job!

We were very pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience. Everyone working there was so nice and thoughtful. They paid extra attention not only to my kids, but to my parents who are older during the zip lining, horseback riding and slide. The facilities were very clean and the location is just beautiful.
We booked directly through them and the process was very easy. We also booked transportation from/to our hotel and it was very efficient and on time. They even stopped for us to buy some typical snacks.
The lunch meal was absolutely amazing, and we also learned about some culture.

This is simply a must do activity. We are a family of four (two kids 15 and 6) and everyone had an amazing time. I was a little worried about my 6 year old being afraid of the zip line but the instructors took him tandem down every run and he had the time of his life. One word of wisdom, on the water slide when they tell you to sit up and not lay down listen to them. When you lay back it allows you to go faster ( a little to fast for the turns) while siting up keeps you at the correct speed. Love this pace and the crew that works there!

This is one of my favorite spots! Only about half an hour from Liberia. I went yesterday and did the nature pass with a friend. We started with a farm to table lunch which was AMAZING and then spent the afternoon in the springs with breaks for massages and mud applications (skin feels great). The staff goes above and beyond they are truly wonderful. The people who own Diamante Eco Adventure Park recently purchased the park and they have it all going on. Great chill vibe! @sueincostarica

Our family of seven, including three kids under six, had a blast. All of the staff did their best to accommodate the entire family. There were beautiful views on the zip line, and delicious drinks by the hot spring. We spent an entire day with activities to appease everyone. The staff was great and lunch was delicious. The mud bath was not much of a bath more of a painting station, but the river nearby was fun to explore. I would definitely recommend Vandara for a fun day in Costa Rica.

Very Fun adventure. I went with my four children and husband. The tour starts with a 15 minute horseback ride up the hill to the first zipline platform. A few of the kids wore shorts and I work yoga pants. You can go either way. Then on to an amazing series of zip lines. Our guides were knowledgeable and the zipline set up was relatively new and safe. The next part is the cultural experience which is informative. You get to taste some coffee and homemade bread. You then get to slide down the big slide which is made of concrete and opens into a big pool. They have you wear a tube around your waste to keep you sitting up and rubber elbow guards to protect your skin. It was a blast! The lunch was delicious (they made the best lemonade). We opted not to experience the hot springs as we had just spent 4 days at a thermal hot springs hotel and it was very hot outside. We were also told the waterfall was dry this month. Overall, it was a great day with really kind people. We enjoyed getting to know our guides - Manuel and Steve. Would do it again.
