We had such a great time today! The tour was beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. We booked a private tour - I would highly recommend spending the extra $ for a private tour. Ian, or guide was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and you can tell he enjoys what he’s doing. We travelled ahead of some of the larger groups so we ended up at the waterfall by ourselves for a short time. Ian was happy to snap some photos for us along the way. Wonderful experience. Thanks again!!

Everything was fantastic. Francisco was an amazing tour guide who went above and beyond to help our 8 year old get through the rapids to the gorgeous waterfall. We even saw a huge group of howler monkeys playing in the trees.

By far this was the best tour we have ever been on. The waterfall hike was INSANE, jumping from big rocks, getting to go under the waterfall, beautiful scenery and picture with the family. This is one we will do again and again. Our guide WAS AWESOME and the Driver was very interesting spoke about Costa Rica all the way from Tamarindo, made the hour 45 drive feel like 5 minutes. HIGHLY Recommend.

Jeremy, Steve & Ian were wonderful tour guides. They were knowledgeable and charismatic the entire tour. They cared about the safety of each individual both young and old in our 14 person group. They made the energy lively and exciting. They also took many photos with their personal phones to airdrop if you wish to leave your phone in the lockers. At a reasonable price, I highly recommend doing this tour with this company while near Liberia !

We had a wonderful experience with La Leona Waterfall Adventure tour - hands down, the best excursion we’ve ever done!! We were a group of 4 adults & 4 children (ages 7-10) and did the tubing/hiking tour to La Leona Waterfall. Andre, John, Randall and the others who worked there were so fun, patient, and very informative tour guides. The tubing was fun, and the guys were there to help the whole time, especially with the littles ones. John was so sweet with my 7 year old - they even made up a secret handshake! The waterfall was absolutely breathtaking, and we were able to swim for as long as we wanted while Andre and Randall took pictures for us. To top it off, when the excursion was over, Andre took us to lunch at a wonderful local restaurant. It was a great end to an awesome day. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone!

This was a great experience! We did the private leona hike and loved it. Our guide Vladimir was patient and helpful with all five members of our group, which included 10-65 year old family members. He also took great pictures with our phones. We all agreed that this was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

We booked a combo tour that included La Leona waterfall, river tubing, lunch, hot springs and mud bath- the whole thing exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful, adventurous and relaxing. Right from checkin everyone was so nice and helpful. Our family had two excellent guides Jeremy and Feliz! They went above and beyond to make our excursion a memorable one. I have already recommended this same tour and guides to our friends going to CR in March. A++, a must do, one of our favorite things we did the whole time in CR.

Must see: swimming through beautiful blue waters to see the breathtaking waterfall. Our guide Randall was very enthousiastic, helpful and he took all the time to let us swim and take pictures and video's of us. Best time to go is in the afternoon, it is less crowded then. We were alone, so much nicer than all cramped up with a lot of other tourists😉

My shuttlebus to the national park got cancelled in the morning so I needed a plan B.. La Leona Waterfall tour responded to my last minute request and was extremely helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful time, the blue water is crystal clear and it's an adventurous hike to get there. Guide Jeremy was a real gentleman; made sure that everything went okay and made tons of photos as a souvenir. Definitely recommend!

This hike was amazing! Our guide John was very knowledgeable about the wildlife/trees/plants. He was also very helpful during the tricky parts of crossing the river. The waterfall was amazing and was just beautiful. The hike itself is easy and is for anyone. If you want and adventure for a couple of hours this is the perfect adventure to do!

Do you have to know how to swim for this adventure?

Not really but you should be comfortable in water. They offer life jackets. The water was high for us as it was still rainy season. So depending on when you go the water may be lower. The guides will also help you😊
