A haven for the arts since 2010, the Hidden Garden Art Gallery offers quality original art in many mediums. HG is the largest of its kind in Guanacaste, more than 60 artists on exhibit, and 15 rooms full of paintings, sculptures and diverse artistic expressions. The gallery has 3,500 square feet of wall space, and more than 400 pieces on display. Rooms are coordinated by styles, ranging from geometric abstraction, to typical art, to underwater images. The Gallery is also home to the permanent exhibits of our resident artist Carlos Hiller underwater scenes, Susan Adams, Rebeca Alvarado Soto and many more. Our location, designed with a marvelous architecture, is the perfect setting for our cultural center. Our mission is to strengthen and heighten local artists' works and share the beauty and culture of Costa Rica.

We purchased some wonderful art at Hidden Garden Art Gallery from a variety of local artists. The selection of different artists and styles is quite impressive and the prices very reasonable. The owners were great at explaining the background of the art/artists and very patient with all our questions. The Gallery is a beautiful relaxing setting. If you love original... More

This kind of hip spot in between Liberia and the airport has acade as part of the building with light lunches available. There are several rooms of paintings by local artists most of which are for sale well worth a couple of hours and a lunch stop.

We needed to kill some time before our flight home and this was just perfect. 7 or 8 rooms full of absolutely lovely art of all kinds. Don't be surprised if you start to consider an impulse buy of a $1500 piece. Curators were super friendly and attentive. We recommend this place.

I feel so fortunate to have met Susan and her husband, Jesse, in Taramindo! They told me about the gallery. I saw Susan's originals and purchased two prints of the jaguar series. What a marvellous experience! My husband Gerry and I were SO impressed with the variety and the quality of the art! We met Milo Gonzales as he was... More

Stopped on the way back to the airport as we had some time to kill. Glad we did as it was well worth it. We were met by the owners as we arrived and we're told about the history of the place and how they promote local artists in Costa Rica. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

As an artist, living in Costa Rica, i was delighted to come across this huge & diverse gallery, just near the Daniel Oduber airport in Guanacaste. To my further surprise, many well known Costa Rican artists are represented here. Char & Greg, the gallery managers, were most cordial and I look forward to my next visit. It put a whole... More

This is a huge villa in a garden like setting. The house is filled with room after room of high quality local art. You can spend a lot of time looking at a variety of art and hang out for a while on the terrace. Easy going friendly bilingual owners. This is not a stuffy gallery. A place you will... More

Stopped by at the last minute but did get to see all the galleries. Staff was nice and the art interesting but many large pieces that would be difficult to carry.
