What a fantastic tour, went with my two adult daughters, we all really enjoyed it. It's more than just a coffee tour, it's also a roasting class, chocolate tour, and more. Tio Leo comes across as a very kind person and you can tell he is passionate about the plants he cultivates on his farm. No visit to the area is complete without stopping here for the tour. The restaurant/café is also very excellent, with great prices and great staff. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent diner there.…

This was such a fantastic experience for our family! Tio Leo taught us all about the plants on his property (and we tried some fruits/juices we had never tried before), explained the coffee roasting process to us, and even showed us how to roast cocoa and coffee beans. There was so much information, and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.…

This little restaurant on our way to Westin All Inclusive resort is a hidden gem. Great coffee, souvenirs for cheap compare to buying at resort or Tamarindo area. Definitely a must place to stop eat, drink and buy your souvenirs ;)

Tio Leo has to be the perfect man for this! We reserved this tour without doing much research and WOW! Leo took the time to explain the customs and history of the region as well as showing us how each part of the process is completed. We learned about many plants and trees, including coffee. We made empanadas and ground cacao, ran sugar cane through the mill and so much more. This was such a wonderful experience, no pressure to buy a bunch of junk or anything like that. This was a pure, honest, passion for the trade, and want to share it with people. No more or less. Fabian also took the time to speak with us about his experiences here. He truly has a love for this profession and seems to be Leo's, right-hand man. We bought coffee and Leo autographed the bags. He even said don't waste your money if you plan to put sugar and milk in the more expensive peaberry coffee. This is how tour experiences are supposed to be. Many thanks to Leo and the staff.…

What a TREAT!!! Take a personal tour of this man’s botanical garden where he’s growing coffee amongst many organic plants that help pollinate & shade. He’s truly an artist in his experimental garden and then they cooked for us on an outside pit, showed his roasting, helped us grind chocolate beans .... he represents much of the Costa Rican coffee plantations and truly gives you an insight into their culture of coffee and how the inter-growing helps the whole situation .. really a lovely experience! …
