This company came very highly recommended and we booked our adventure for our family of four five months prior to going since we were traveling at their peak season. Our planned family vacation to Costa Rica was forced to be cancelled. We abided by our cancellation contract and cancelled the tour within the guidelines. We were promised and sent confirmation that we were going to receive our full refund and we have yet to see it 6 months later. There have been numerous communications promising/guaranteeing our refund but it’s still not in our account. This company does not abide by their “guarantee” and has fraudulently taken approximately $400 of our hard earned money! We are extremely irate at the fact that they have breached their contract. WARNING!! PLEASE DON’T BOOK WITH THEM, THEY DON’T KEEP THEIR WORD!

So disappointed! When I booked this excursion for my family I was told it was 100% refundable. I had to cancel due to COVID-19, mandate not to travel, a week in advance. I was insured I would get 100% refund. I was patient and waited weeks and weeks (almost 3 months) for that refund. I was told I was refunded, but it never showed up in my account. Now nobody will reply to my emails. Very disappointing! I understand this pandemic affected us all, but don’t claim 100% refund if that is not what you are willing to do.

Went with a friend and did the sky tram/zipline/bridges deal. We did a short walk on the bridges the first day and then caught the tram to zipline. We had never done this before but had researched pretty carefully in reading reviews to be sure we had picked a company where people talked about a culture of safety. I wholeheartedly agree that Sky has taken every action to make this completely safe but still exhilarating and fun-filled adventure. The equipment is top notch and clearly well maintained, the staff are safety conscious and so helpful and supportive. They really know how to reassure you while sending you off on the wildest ride! We had a really short “zip” to the base of the tram to give us a feel for it and then walked up to the first tower and climbed up to the platform. The staff were very conscientious and very friendly and pleasant. They send the first person off and then wait for the radio signal to let them know that one had landed before sending you off. They did not try to rush us or seem distracted at all. I’m sure my heart was beating at least 160 bpm on that first zip but what a rush! The second one was a little longer and still a heartbeat elevating ride. At this point before they sent you off on the third line, they give you the option to stop there and walk back down or not. If you do not then you cannot choose to bail out anywhere else as there is no way down to the base. Off we went. By now the clouds had moved in and once you took off it was only seconds it seemed and all you can see if a wall of white in front of you with a little tiny looking black “line” going in to it. By the time you grasp the idea that that tiny line is your cable you are in the cloud and blind. Out you pop at the other end just in time to see the tower and the guy waving. They had promised a surprise for the last line – which was going to be 2500 feet long (1/2 mile!). I won’t spoil the surprise but I will say that we took off we were FLYING! The wet lines had already made it faster but wow – this was lightning fast. It was an experience that I’m so glad I did and it was a real rush, very exciting. We went back the next day to do the entire bridges walk and this was the best thing we did the entire 10 days we were in Costa Rica. This is where I really felt like I was "in the jungle/cloud forest". We got there early and there were hardly any other people, which was great. It had rained overnight so when walking through the “jungle” you could hear the water dripping and the wetness brought out more of the smell of the plants and the soil and it really felt like we were immersed in some secret tropical forest. The sun was out and we were able to see some views from the bridges that we hadn’t seen yesterday. Lots of beautiful flowers too. Just great!

This was one of the most amazing and exhilarating experiences of my life. Such beautiful scenery in the shadow of the Arenal volcano with vast views over Lake Arenal.
