My wife and I had done this tour before years back and loved it so we wanted to share it with our best friends on this trip. Again it exceeded our expectations. I remember when my oldest son did the tour with us about 10 years ago, he said "Dad, how did anyone ever figure this out that the seed... More

I was surprised at how interesting the whole process of coffee was. I don't even like coffee that much, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable part of our trip. Great half day outing near San Jose. Make sure to get the Peaberry blend. YUM

It was one very beautiful experience. We have learned a lot about the coffee and how it is made from scratch. The tour is very interesting, you can as well try different sorts of coffee on the spot and at the end you can as well buy coffee beans in their store.

Beautiful estate with a wonderful tour! I have previously been on a coffee tour in Guatemala and I learned so much more on this tour! Our group also had lunch here and the food was just great! Definitely recommend!

This was a stop with Caravan Tours and very informational. You are guided step by step on how the coffee is produced, which involves a number of different processes before getting to the store. But the really great part of this tour is they have a butterfly garden. Being I've never been thru a butterfly garden nor really never having... More

After visiting La Paz waterfall gardens, we had a little time and decided to head to Doka estate. We got there just in time for the last tour and it was so interesting. I love coffee and learned all kinds of details about the processes, the beans, the drying, the roasting, etc. It was really interesting and not to long... More

Interesting to see the workings of a 120 year old plantation that has not changed much in time. Staff quite friendly. Educational.
