This trip worth every penny 😍 and all thanks to our guide Gonzalo who was very welcoming and informative. Gonzalo cancelled the second part of the Rio Celeste hike for our safety because it was raining heavily and gave us more time on the other part of the trip.
On the other hand, our driver was kind enough to slow down for us to take photos of the Volcano when the sky was clear and even stopped in one of the bridges to take photos of the blue river.
Thank you Jungle Tours for engraving great memories in our minds about all the carefully selected attractions in our itinerary.

Abel our tour guide, along with our bus driver, was great! First we trekked down to a huge waterfall and Abel made sure we were safe. He also watched all of our belongings so we could enjoy the waterfall. Then we headed to Arenal Volcano where he taught us the history of the volcano before we started hiking up. He pointed out various bugs and some animals on our way up and he stopped to give us breaks many times! He was very knowledgeable with the volcano. They provided a simple but tasty lunch (which we ate under a covered area and we were so thankful for that because it started POURING!) Finally, we headed to the hot springs which on the outer edges was cold but Abel walked into the middle with his shoes on to test it for us and let us know that it was in fact, warm! Our group wasn’t too keen on going when we first felt the temperature, but after Abel tested it out for us, we all jumped in! Transportation from our Airbnb and back was so easy. My husband and I really enjoyed our tour!

Augustine was the best tour guide. Taught us Spanish on our amazing Hike. Visiting the La Fortuna waterfall and canopy bridges was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all of my expectations. The stunning beauty of the waterfall as it cascaded down into the crystal clear pool below left me in awe. The sound of the rushing water and the lush greenery surrounding the area created a peaceful and serene atmosphere that was truly magical.
The canopy bridges offered a unique perspective of the rainforest, allowing me to walk amongst the treetops and get a bird's eye view of the incredible biodiversity of the area. The knowledgeable guides provided interesting information about the flora and fauna, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
I was also impressed by the well-maintained trails and facilities at the site, making it easy to navigate and explore. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my visit was comfortable and enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the La Fortuna waterfall and canopy bridges for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Costa Rica's natural wonders. It was truly a highlight of my trip and an experience I will never forget.

This was an amazing tour where we got to see a waterfall, the Arenal Volcano, and Termal waters. This tour included lunch and it was very well priced. The sales person Chalo was very honest and transparent.
The tour guide Narlon was knowledgeable about the regions history and extremely attentive to all the guests.
I will continue to use this service whenever I’m in Costa Rica and will continue to refer people to it as they were truthful and honest.

Norrrrlan was a fantastic fun guide who made us all feel welcome and included.
Group size was perhaps too large as sometimes it felt like we had to wait around a long while for everyone to spot things in the rainforest.
Walk was totally manageable for our 7 and 11 year olds but very sweaty!
Lunch was delicious.
Shuttle service was good.
Hot Springs were really beautiful - try to take a bit of cash with you to buy a coconut afterwards.

We hand a wonderful time with Gonzalo! He was very communicative and tried to (successfully) to make everyone feel welcome. He pointed out that the trip already starts on the way to the park. We stopped multiple times as he spotted beautiful animals. We had a great time with him, highly recommend!

Gonzola was a fantastic guide, unlike any other I had during my trip! He went out of his way to learn everyone’s name and took extra care to show us very many amazing animals along the way. The hike was great, the lunch at the local farm was amazing. I loved it all. We even rescued a turtle!

Went on Rio Celeste & Lunch tour. Only us (4 people) plus two others, so it was almost a private tour. As a result, we received personalized attention. If full, the bus would have been uncomfortably cramped, but we were able to spread out. Great guide Eduardo and driver Francisco.
Stopped on the road a couple times to view wildlife. Stopped at a nice bakery, where we can recommend the coconut cake, coconut cookies, and cinnamon rolls. Hike was very nice, along with seeing more wildlife. Trail got crowded right at the waterfall, and it would be worse in high season. Lunch was delicious. Time in the river was nice, and they have changing rooms there.

Our excursion started out right on time at 8 am with a visit to la catarata la fortuna. The driving was great and I felt safe the entire time! We were given plenty of time to take pictures and swim in the waterfall. Next we were able to go on a hike at the base of the volcano which was beautiful once again. Norlan’s knowledge of the area was very cool and was an overall positive during the excursion. The food we had was also great along with the shot haha. Next we were able to take a dip in the hot springs to cool off after a great tour and it was a perfect end. During the entire trip I felt very safe and knew that all of my belongings were being watched after! Along with this the pickup and drop off process was very easy and efficient.

We choose the full day tour (Waterfall, Volcano, Bridges and Hot Springs) and it was a great experience to see all the beautiful nature Costa Rica has to offer. But the best part of our day was the tour guide Sergio. Not only did he make sure that we all learned about Costa Rica history, but he was also very interested about where we are from. He was very fun and knowledgeable. I cannot overstate how good of a tour guide he is. I highly recommend it. ¡Pura Vida!

Do the "Two Volcanoes Extreme Hike" and the "Morning Volcano Hike, Lunch & Hot Springs River" have any overlap trails? I would like to do both of them, but am afraid to repeat the same trails. Thanks. Maggie

Sorry I don’t know about the overlap ! I would recommend you to do the two volcanoes hike it is good value for many as you fit a lot activities in one day! I would do a different tour after the 2 volcanoes hike ! I was told that the Rio Celeste tour

This looks like a great hike! I'd like to take my sons, ages 11 and 14. Has anyone seen kids on this hike?
Also looking for recommendations about where to stay. We will be there for 7 days or so, including travel days. I'd like to land in CR, stay at one place and take day trips from there. (Rather than trying to see several cities)

yes you can take your kids with you. they will have lots of fun. At sky adventures they have lot of safety so don't worry. you can stay at La fortuna. you will get beautiful hotels and tons of hot spring.
