We absolutely loved this chocolate tour. Mauricio was the best guide. He’s so charismatic and passionate about what he does. He showed us all around the property and regaled us with interesting facts about each plant. We had fresh delicious fruits we’ve never tried before. The USA definitely needs to start growing guanabana. That stuff is straight up delicious! It started pouring and that just added to the adventure. Mauricio gave us umbrellas so we didn’t get soaked. We tried all kinds of fruit and spices. It was so much fun. We then got to grind some cocoa beans and make our own fresh hot cocoa. We were also given some chocolate pieces that were homemade. Absolutely delicious! Such a fun and interesting experience. Highly recommended!

We were welcomed warmly by Mauricio and the next 2 hours flew by very fast, because he is a fascinating teller and a real enthusiast. Its a family business and they put their heart and soul in everything they do and you can actually feel it ☺️ Mauricio told us about many plants, spices and techniques, the family also shared some fruits and let us participate in some drink-making. In the end we had a delicious coffee and hot chocolate. We were really very happy with this fun experience and will definitely recommend it to everybody who loves nature, plants, homemade coffee and chocolate 💛 Thank you for hosting us!

Marciano was a wonderful host and guide! They greeted us and gave us a private tour, immediately feeding us natural fruits from the plantation..absolutely delicious 😋 As a coffee and chocolate lover it was neat to see the organic process and be part of it, as we were invited to grind the cocoa and squeeze the sugar cane. I would recommend this intimate tour over another tour in the city... come hungry!

I've had different tours around the world but this one was different. I did not have the impression of being a simple tourist being shown a quick tour of a plantation. Rather, I felt like I was with my family and having an incredibly interesting discussion with a friend (I'm so sorry I didn't fully remember your name). I learned so much about the history of fruit trees, plants, spices, cocoa or coffee and how everything lives in harmony, I found it captivating. I'm glad I didn't have a meal before, I was able to enjoy the taste of each fruits. His "daughter", as he calls her, was really nice and helpful, I hope you can visit many countries in your life. In short, a great family time.
