Relaxing but pricey.

The hot springs were awesome. We spent from 5pm-10pm here hoping into the 20 different pools. Very fun and relaxing. Swim up bars and tab connected to your wristband was a great... read more

Trust me when I say this place is worth every penny. The place is gigantic, and even Oprah agrees - it's the best around. Here's the deal - Before you go - know this: DISCOUNT - Get a voucher from your motel to get a discount, and be sure to include the buffet. Your tour guide or motel get points... More

Expensive and not a geothermal spa experience I could call genuine. Could have been in Orlando or Phoenix at a water park and couldn't tell the difference really. The water had no minerals or smell of sulphur as is the norm at springs I've visited in Costa Rica. Beer and cocktails were super expensive The bus loads of tourists were... More

Went after hiking Arenal volcanoe and what a great way to end the day. Spent a wonderful 4 hours there! Very relaxing in all the different pools. Only negative would be the pricey drinks.

The Baldi Hot Springs was amazing. Beautiful and so relaxing. Definitely go later in the day, as it is less crowded. We went around 3:30 PM and the crowds were pretty thin. That being said, it was absolutely amazing. One word of warning - the slide is like a religious experience in that I was praying for my life halfway... More

The hot springs were awesome. We spent from 5pm-10pm here hoping into the 20 different pools. Very fun and relaxing. Swim up bars and tab connected to your wristband was a great touch. One negative was the buffet. Food wasn't that great and not work the extra money. Another negative is the $6 for a locker. If you are going... More

We did the night time option. Great experience, the crowd at night was minimal but I could see how it could get busy with tour buses during the day. Drinks were strong and well made, but the buffet wasn't anything special. You'd be better off heading back to town and finding a great restaurant.

We enjoyed a long day at Baldi finished by a nice buffet dinner. It is very commercialized but worth the price. There are many different pools to suit your temperature needs with cocktails to keep you hydrated. It was magical once the sun set and the lights came on. We would definitely return.

The Baldi is a very high class place!! I was happy with the pools, although some of them were not exactly the advertised temperatures. The water slides are unbelievably fun, and would totally be frowned upon by any sensible governing body. Beers were 5.50 and cocktails 10 dollars... a bit steep.

I've been to 3-4 different hot springs, and Baldi Hot Springs is the best of them all! The pools are all 90-100F, are are very well built, complete with mini waterfalls, 3 slides, and delicious food. Very romantic. Definitely will be going back!
