Baldi has a nice ambience with lots of plants and trees around, offers a lot of pools, pool bars (albeit pricey) and 3 slightly harsh slides - it is however not a nice romantic or particularly relaxing experience as there are many people around and...More

Went there after a full days of activity, and to end the day in the hot springs with a few cocktails were just what we needed. The entrance fee also covered a buffet. Not a top class buffet, but we definitely got full:) The numerous...More

Have enjoyed several hot springs in Costa Rica - from the very luxurious to the public as well as many hotels - from hostels to the super luxurious. Not only is Baldi beautiful, but this resort really understands service extraordinarily well. From working with me...More

I'm mixed on Baldi Hot Springs. The grounds are clean and the pools are nice however it feels like a big swimming pool/water park instead of a hot springs. It's a nice place to relax/unwind after a long day but I wasn't blown away by...More

If you don't mind to bath in crowded pools this hot springs will be good for you. They offer several swimming pools with different temperatures and environments. They also have water slides (one of them really fast 45km/h). You'll have to pay for towels and...More

The water park was extraordinary and the water was heated.I suggest you get there early in order to enjoy the water slides, the place in itself and the great food they serve.

This place looked like it is an amazing water park with slides, swim-up bars, places to splash around and relax. We were looking for natural hot springs from the geothermal river (Tabacon Hot Springs). Baldi is swimming pools that are heated with heaters. We paid...More

We visited the hot springs mid morning, left for lunch and went back late evening. The pools we're awesome, simply gorgeous!! My 5 and 7 year olds enjoyed them as well.

Baldi is a great way to soak away the aches and pains of rigorous hiking while in CR, or a nice romantic way to spend a day with your partner. I went with my daughter and we had a nice day. After 3 days of...More

I am wondering if the waterslides are safe now? It seems like 5-7 years back there were quite a few injuries. We are taking our 9 and 11 year old children and I want to be sure we don't let them do something that is a known hazard. Thanks in advance.

Our group went down all the slides and they were very safe, and lots of fun. Just use your general judgement - don't do anything you would not do on a slide back home!

I don't think so as we couldn't smell any chlorine, and our skin felt wonderful for days after we visited the springs. One of our favourite parts of the trip!
