Incredible tour! We did this on our first full day in Costa Rica and it was the perfect introduction to the rainforest and wildlife. Our guide was amazing and we saw SO many animals and insects. We learned a ton too. After this tour, we felt we didn't need to have guides at every other place we went, since we had already seen soooo much wildlife at Bogarin! Definitely recommend this. Our entire group from teens to seniors loved it.

We went to Bogarin to do our own self guided walk during the day and managed to find a few things, but knew with how excellent the trails were there was more to see. We decided to book a night guided walk and did this with William. The experience was far better than we could ever have hoped. We saw everything we could have imagined and more! William and all the team were great and very knowledgeable.

Fabulous experience! William was such an expert in plants, animals, and local culture! He was fun and interesting!we would highly recommend the night tour! Make sure to wear closed toe shoes!

We ard two italian tourist that did this amazing trail, there are so many animals to see. We got the luck to have a guide of the bogarin family who created the park. Without a guide it would have been difficult to spot most of the animals cause they hide, hightly recommended to visit!

This was an awesome tour. The business that this family has created is amazing. We went with William, one of the Bogarin brothers who over 20 years ago founded this business. He has eagle eyes! If we were walking by ourselves, we might have seen one thing. But William, with his scope, pointed out animals and birds and insects and frogs over and over. We were truly amazed. He carried a high, magnification scope and constantly took pictures and videos with our phone to capture these amazing creatures. We could not have had a better tour anywhere! Two thumbs up. Highly recommend.

The guided tour was two plus hours of MAGIC! Our knowledgeable, friendly and engaging guide, Mar, pointed out countless plant and animal species, none of which we would have spotted without her guidance. And her reverence for nature and her native culture were contagious! Highly recommend.

highly recommended, it is right off the road and it takes you into another world, of forest and birds and monkeys and sloths. at the entrance they have a bird feeding sticks with fresh fruit and you can seat and watch all kinds and colors of birds, including the beautiful Toucans. at the end of the parking lot there is a great restaurant.

We did the self-guided option at the Bogarin Trail. As teachers and biology nerds, we loved the variety of plants, animals, birds, and reptiles that we saw while we visited. We made sure to walk each trail and stopped a lot along the way to look at things. I would highly recommend binoculars and/or taking a guided tour if you don't know what to look for.

Our tour guide, William, made this activity a hit for the entire family. He was so knowledgeable about the area, the history, and the animals it made a complete difference. Our two teen boys talked about William the rest of the trip and compared every other tour guide we encountered to him. We were able to see so many animals and the short amount of time. Had we not had a guided tour, I'm not sure we would have seen much of anything except trees.

Great guide for the nature tour. If we hadn’t gotten the guide we wouldn’t have seen most of what he pointed out to us. Our guide was great at capturing pictures with my phone of the animals we saw. My favorite were the frogs!
