I am not a horseback rider, in fact, i have been on one other horse in my life before, but this experience has made me want to get a horse. :) I was so nervous and the staff made the experience very warm and easy going for a beginner like me. They have done an incredible job in making memories,... More

We had a ride to see the Volcano, unfortunately the weather was not the best (very cloudy). But our guides were so friendly and the route was wonderful. They spotted some animals with their "eagle eyes" which was incredible ;) Don't want to miss this experience. We had very little horse back riding experience before which wasn't a problem at... My daughter and I had an amazing experience on this horseback riding tour! We were picked up at our hotel by Kendall, a very sweet young man, and taken to the stables for the 8:30 ride. One other young women joined us so there were only 3 altogether for this tour. Lucky us! Bernardo introduced himself and our horses and... More

The scenery on this adventure was stunning! It had rained that morning, so the terrain was extra challenging. Not being very familiar with horses, it was a bit scary going up (and down) the side of the volcano. My horse threw me off when the guide tried to line us up for a picture. Thankfully, I was not hurt, but... More

Our family of 6 from 12 and up plus one other couple took this tour. Our horses were fairly well behaved and showed their unique personalities as we worked our way up the hill to a view of Arenal Volcano and the valley below. Some experience riding is helpful as the terrain can be challenging in areas but the horses... More

We had a lovely ride for just our family of five. The terrain is pretty easy but steep in places. Sadly we picked a gloomy day so views were limited but that is just the luck of the drawer around here. All the horses were in good shape and very jolly. A nice stop halfway for coffee, home-made sweet tortillas... More

Not your standard horses in a like walk. We got to gallop and canter a lot. Very nice horses and beautiful views. Nice tour guide as well.

Was looking to get back on the horses after a 30 year hiatus. The stables are right across the street from Nayara Springs. They have two levels for rides, I opted for the beginning rider (which would qualify for intermediate based on the hills we climbed). We climbed the many hills which afforded us beautiful views in Arenal. Views of... More
