Francisco was great guide - very knowledgeable & funny and showed us so many animals we hadn't yet seen in Costa Rica. We saw about 6 different kinds of frogs, a lot of interesting insects, and even an armadillo! This was all an amazing adventure on the property of the Mendez bed & breakfast & were provided a delicious Pollo casado afterward. I highly recommend this tour!

Our tour Guide, Gabriel, was fantastic!!!! We first met him on this night tour. We were a party of 7, including 2 kids (11 and 8), an all of us were so excited and intrigued by this tour. The owners of the farm were so hospitable and friendly as well. The next day we had an all day tour: Volcano tour, Waterfall and Hanging Bridges. Gabriel was once again our guide and again he was great! Very knowledgeable, and sincerely loves sharing Costa Rica with tourists.

This is one where a simple rating system breaks down. The high points were very high, and none of it was bad, but Ecoterra probably has better options than this tour. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. She even administered well-done first aid when I had a mishap on the rocks at the base of the waterfall. The hanging bridge tour is not to be missed, as we saw a wonderful variety of wildlife. Lunch was great. The only downside to this particular tour is that the waterfall and volcano viewing hike are a little on the ho-hum side; you're probably better off just booking the hanging bridges and using your time elsewhere. One side note is that we had to delay our trip twice, once due to COVID in 2020 and once due to a death in the family in 2022. Of all the vendors we had to deal with to make those changes, Ecoterra was the most responsive and most professional in handling things.

Excellent tour! We learned so much, and each of us--teens as well as adults--enjoyed the entire experience. Even someone hesitant about heights would find this experience comfortable. Out of the 16 bridges, 10 of then are stationary, and all are well-supported and maintained. Great guides and very informative! We would go again!

Beautiful tour! I think we were the only people in the park. We saw nobody else. Just pure nature. A hidden gem! The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Everything was very professional and well organized. Would definitely book again with Ecoterra!
