We used Bike Arenal and driver/ Bike tour guide Keylor for a private transfer for two separate transfers on two separate occasions . We did two 4 hour drives across the country from La Fartuna Keylor was amazing, his driving , his knowledge of the country, his English , are all amazing, if I liked riding bikes I would trust Keylor to guide me around . I completely trust him. Please consider this company when visiting Costa Rica Canadian Correctional officer traveling with my wife and two girls 10 and 13

Fantastic tour, would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Arenal/La Fortuna! Very informative before the tour, turned up early to pick us up and then the tour itself exceeded expectations! Our guide made sure our helmets and bikes were all set up properly before we set off. On the tour he gave us a lot of fascinating information which brought the whole trip to life. We stopped half way for some fresh fruit, granola and a beer which was much needed! So pleased we did this and one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks!

My wife and I have just completed a fantastic mountain bike tour with Bike Arenal. From the moment we contacted the owner ,Alejandro, in the UK to the day we finished our 7 day tour these guys were amazing. Bike Arenal listened to what we wanted to do and put together a bespoke tour for us starting with the first pick up near Tortuguero finishing a week later on the Pacific coast at Samara. The bikes were great especially as one of our main requirements was an electric mountain bike for my wife which Alejandro purchased ready for our arrival ! With a support vehicle plus a guide throughout the whole trip , hotels booked , activities such as white water rafting and canyoning arranged along the way , my advice is book with these guys direct in Costa Rica ! You won’t be disappointed and what a great way to appreciate this amazing country. Alejandro and his team were great to cycle with ,very professional , extremely knowledgable and he also acted as our guide on the Hanging Bridges tour outside La Fortuna. Thanks Alejandro to you and your team for one of the most memorable cycling tours. We have continued our journey through Costa Rica with the end of our holiday fast approaching and already miss the cycling and laughs we all enjoyed together. Thanks so much.Rob and Jo

My husband and I are keen Road cyclists and on a recommendation from friends who had visited in January we booked a half day tour with Bike Arenal and were not disappointed. From the excellent customer service at point of sale through to the ride everything was excellent and great value. Antino, led our tour and had excellent English and great customer service. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotels. We provided our bike sizing in advance and were given correctly fitting bikes. Out guides were knowledgeable about the local area, it's history and animals and pointed out lots of things of interest to us. The ride was approximately 16km with a stop at Lake Arenal (don't forget your towel and swimming costume) for snacks. As we cycle a lot the ride was fairly easy for us, but there was a biginner in our group of four and Antino was great in insuring they were OK and keeping up. We tried to keep the group together and that was great for enjoying the stunning scenery. They also provide full support with a bus to carry bags and water and deal with any mechanicals you may have had. My only regret is not booking the full day tour.
