A very attractive Cathedral. Very decorative inside. When we were there there were people dressed in costumes with very large heads.

The church is made of metal, as you've probably read from other reviews, but it's actually even cooler than that sounds once you see it in person! The park in front of the church is also charming and a nice place to sit down for...More

The story goes that the original cathedral burned to the ground in the mid 19th century, so parishioners rebuilt using pre-fabricated steel plates purchased in Belgium. The rust-red church is completely made of these plates with white filigree decorative elements. The interior is whitewashed which...More

It is nice to see this church and is a land mark for those here in Grecia. IT is not ornate or decorative like other Latin America churches.

The church building and architecture is amazing. Very clean and well maintained. They were preparing for a wedding when we visited.

The size of the church is unbelievable. All the old alters, are still intact, the statues, the old pipe organ.

I have been here a number of times. Most recently with friends visiting from Californis. They were very impressed with it from the exterior but could not believe the beauty inside. Certainly a must see if you are in Grecia.

This was an unexpected extra, courtesy hurricane Otto, and was a first. I've seen the largest timber cathedral, but this is the only one built out of iron with rivets I have ever seen. I half expected to see "forged in Birkenhead" printed on the...More

Well maintained historic site. Lots of historic exhibits on display inside. Various religious exhibits. City center location. On street parking. Several good restaurants for lunch or dinner are close by with in walking distance.
